I used Arrow’s “Fastener T50 Type 3/8 in. Leg x 3/8 in. Crown Galvanized Steel Staples (1,250-Pack)” for an upholstery project, reattaching fabric to the underside of six dining room chairs. The staples worked perfectly. FYI: These are galvanized and will resist rust. However if your project will be outdoors or exposed to regular moisture you might want to consider Arrow’s stainless steel staples instead...though they do cost more. Model # 506

I believe this is due to the way the points are ground (when looking at the strip, they appear as sawteeth). DeWalt, Stanley, and Ace staples are ground differently and I seldom have a problem with them.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Effective and useful product I used the staples in an upholstery project for some dining chairs. They worked fairly well, but since I was going through two layers of fabric, I had to tap some of the staples with a hammer to make sure they were secure. In one layer of fabric, they probably would have been much better.

Rated 5 de 5 de par I purchased these for use in my new pneumatic stapler I had recently bought. I use them to mak... I purchased these for use in my new pneumatic stapler I had recently bought. I use them to make the upholstered tops on Ottomans. This requires the use of medium density fiber board which can be very dense. The Staples went right into the wood without bending or breaking. Other staples I had used could not stand up to the materials I was using them in. These worked great.

Galvanized Steel should be ok for 35-50 years. So depends on where you plan to use them. If you plan to use them in direct sunshine exposure- probably not, but if under a deck or something you should be fine.
