Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent Security Camera [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with this security system. I can now catch the people who keeps coming into my yard. With the app I can see, hear and speak to whomever is in my yard that is not suppose to be. You can customize the motion zones so you can be alerted, there is a two-year battery life, you can view live in HD day or night, and record & store video clips to the cloud storage or to the Blink Sync Module 2. It is definitely weather resistant. We have had some freezing rain and the camera system still works great. If your looking for a great security system to protect your home, then this is definitely the one.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Simple and Dependable Home Protection [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed the Blink system at our home this week and I’m already impressed. Setup was very simple ... just had to download the app and scan the QR codes on the synch unit and both cameras. The synch unit is small and is easy to place anywhere in your home. Cameras are compact and easy to mount with included brackets. Entire process took us about 30 minutes. I’m very impressed by image quality, and I really appreciate the night mode. System worked well instantly. My only negative is I wish I could choose a different tone for alerts. It just gives off a subtle ding, and there is currently no option to change up that sound.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great cameras! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was a breeze. The Blink app is very user friendly and walks you through the quick setup. The cameras are easy to mount and look sleek. They are battery-powered and weatherproof, so they don’t need to be near an outlet and can be mounted anywhere. I like that I can arm the cameras to get alerts through the app and disarm them when I know there will be people walking back and forth and don’t want to be disturbed. The cameras get a very clear picture, even at night. The sound quality is superb. It’s nice to be able to speak back to the camera through the app. My kids think it's hilarious! I would definitely recommend the outdoor cameras for peace of mind.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Night vision not very good unless you use higher setting... Night vision not very good unless you use higher setting but will drain the battery faster. Will not buy a camera again without good night vision battery or powered. Have battery powered cameras with a better night resolution without draining more power.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great Features! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Blink Outdoor 2-Camera system is outstanding quality! Very easy to set up, with very detailed information about the system and instructions on how it operates. It connects to your WiFi, you download the app and it works incredibly well. The cameras are crystal clear, and it notifies you of any motion detection going on outside your house from your phone with a crystal clear live video surveillance. You can also link your system to any other blink systems in your neighborhood if you wanted to. I also love that I can speak through my phone and it will transmit outside through either camera to whoever is at the door. Outstanding security system for my home! I highly recommend!

So far we like it other thank you have to buy a subscription dont fully understand that still figuring everything out and how the work also dont care about how it dont let you quickly get on and see who is at your door for us its takes a min and usally they are gone before it comes on at time.

I bought this thinking all I needed was this and to download a free app. However, it says I need a Blink Sync module which I can't even find anywhere. Is this the case?

Yes you need a module that syncs the camera to an internet connection. If you bought an add on then you need to find a module. You should be happy when you find it, I really like mine.

Any Blink Mini, Blink Indoor and Blink Outdoor system/camera added to a Blink account created after 4/15/2020 will require either local storage via the Sync Module 2 and USB flash drive or a subscription for cloud storage to save videos after the free trial of the Blink Cloud Subscription Service has ended.

Does this included the sync module 2 to connect the outdoor cameras to wifi/internet? The cameras will not work without the module 2.

All Blink Camera systems/kits will include a sync module. Only a Blink Mini or "Add-on" camera will not include the module

You are able to manually arm and disarm your Blink System or even individual cameras on your Blink System at anytime through the APP on your compatible mobile device. You are also able to set-up scheduled arming so that your system would automatically arm and disarm on a set schedule as well if you wish.

Is it possible to store video on local storage without a subscription?

A subscription is not required for local storage. When your trial ends or you cancel, local USB storage via the sync module 2 will still be available for the Blink Mini, Blink Indoor and Blink Outdoor cameras at no charge. You will still be able to access motion clips within the APP.

Assuming a fairly standard home (single building, no unusually dense construction materials), the Sync Module should be able to communicate with Blink camera units up to 100ft away in any direction. As far as how far away the system can be from the wireless router that would depend on the strength of your internet/WIFI, we recommend at least three bars of signal strength for optimal performance.
