Rated 5 de 5 de par 18-GAUGE 1-1/2 IN. NARROW CROWN FINISH STAPLER Bought a Porter Cable combo kit which had a TS056 stapler. Stapler was very picky as how you apply it to a surface or it misfires, a lot. Got fed up so I went to Home Depot to purchase another stapler. I handled the Bostitch and it felt great. The display information was impressive too. Good warranty. Came with 1/4 inch narrow crown 1 inch long staples to try out. Used almost all of them with out a jam or misfire. Good quality, good craftsmanship, good performance, has a plastic hook and came with a molded plastic carrying case. Now I'm using 1/4 inch narrow crown 1/2 inch long staples and going to town insulating my garage without a glitch. The other stapler will be collecting dust.

Rated 5 de 5 de par another great bostitch air tool I added this model last week to my arsenal of other bostitch nailers. It was on clearance for $71.00 but had to buy the display model....haggled with them a bit and walk out paying $60.00 for it. I've never had a problem with any of my nailers some have over 10k brads fired through them not a single problem. I love their oiless engines - no more oil stains around the nail hole! To the reviewer that said you have to use bostitch staples that is simply not true. I shoot portal cable staples currently because thats all HD had in stock. I even fired 30 or so HF horrible china staples with no problem. I didn't realize how big of a deal it was with no 'no fire when emoty' feature until i ran out of staples....that is a really nice feature.

Rated 5 de 5 de par SX 1838 K REVIEW I had a SX150 Bostitch for 6 years and wore it out, currently in for overhaul. I replaced it with the *5-STAR* Ridgid. I wasted my time purchasing that one. I bought the current model Bostitch 1838K and thus far it is working great. I will update this as time rolls on.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Seems to be not quite powerful enough. Had to run it over recommended PSI to get a countersink Works as intended. Was hoping to get a cheaper model. You must use Bostitch staples and not generic. Only come in two size boxes 1,000 or like a billion. It would be nice to have an intermediate size as it will take my entire life to use the large box!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Bostitch has a proven history with me, Great tools Had to buy this stapler today because my other bostich stapler was beyond repair, it was over 15 years old. I had a box of 3000 staples for it, so I thought I could just buy the gun and use my staples from older gun. Did not happen. I had to buy new staples also. They increased the staple size so the old ones will not fit in the newer gun. No biggie, better staples anyway, they are a tad bit bigger. I like the bottom loading on this gun, and it has a window when you can see your staples getting low and most importantly, if you are stapling away and the safety trigger on the end does not push in, this means you are out of staples. Very good feature, keeps you from firing blanks. Awesome stapler and worth the money, the staples are not that expensive and will last a long time, as will the gun. Awesome latch on it to hang from your nailbag or pocket. Works great all around. I nailed up 15 sheets of 3/8 cedar soffit today in under 3 hours, stapler never missed a beat. The hardest part was moving my scaffold around. Great gun, get this one. Porter Cable is good too, but cheaper and parts are more expensive for it. Go bostich when buying tools. Hitachi and Dewalt are great too.
