Rated 5 de 5 de par 15 gallon rolling toolbox with removable inner tray [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 15 gallon rolling toolbox, approx. 25 inches long, 15.5 inches wide, 16.5 inches deep with 88 pound loaded capacity. Handle is retractable, and when extended, the enclosed tray can be mounted on it for access to tools with the box closed. When the box is closed it can serve as a work surface suitable for cutting and other uses. Watertight when top is closed and latched. Offers a decent amount of space, rolls easily across a lawn. A very attractive and functional unit, light weight also.

Rated 4 de 5 de par super tough I have been pulling this bin for two years now and the wheels are still attatched, the handle still works great, and i can jump up and down on it everyday without worries. Its a super tough bin with tons of room and holds everything you need to bring to work. At the cost it is so much better to pull your tools onto the site than carry a nice heavy tool box. Only downside is its not extreme downpour proof, but a little silicone in the underside handle fixed that. aside from that amazing tool box and ill buy another if anything ever happens to this one!!!

Rated 1 de 5 de par Bad product Nice for the average house wife to organize her tools she uses around the house and plenty of space inside for her power drill, some common screw drives, maybe a sowing kit and nicely designed to be wheeled around the house. This tool box is impractical for the jobsite. It has a nice design to fit nicely threw doors, although the plastic shell is not nearly as durable as wood or metal. And the top handle is not load barring so forget about carring it by the to handle like a regular tool box and if your tall this product will put a strain on your back from crouching over the drag it by the handle. This is a very poor design ergonomically and practically.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Very nice, I would change two small things. This is the prefect portable tool box, almost! I've had it for about a month now and use it to haul about 75 lbs of tools to and from job site every day. It holds just about everything I need. Very rugged! I've dragged it up and down stairs, use it as a mini bench, I weigh 180 and it holds me no problem. My only complaint is that the removable tray, which I throw screws and razor blades and other small objects that I don't want lost in the bottom of the tool box, doesn't hold them while in transport (wheeling to and from car by the handle puts the box at 45 degrees thus dumping everything out of the tray). Meaning what ever you put in that tray falls to the bottom of the box. Not a big deal but there's a 1/4" gap in the lid and the back, so my screws and razor blades have fallen out!!! I have since jerry rigged a small block of wood to prevent this but get a little annoyed that I've had to do this. Otherwise amazing box. I really like the one touch lift lid!

Rated 4 de 5 de par Versatile, customizable storage. I needed a storage unit for my circular saw and blades. With a little bit of 3/4” plywood supported by 2” x 3” blocks, and 1/4” MDF for blade storage, I’m quite happy with the results. The bottom lifts out to permit cord and accessory storage. If necessary, I can also add to the existing blade storage, or construct one to mount to the underside of the lid.

Rated 5 de 5 de par pro mobile tool chest very solid, durable, and wont crack outside in cold winter months. have 2 on site and never had an issue, better bang for your buck than steel job box. locks up easilly and is lockable from 2 spots

Rated 3 de 5 de par Good Box....Bad Handle I've had this toolbox for a couple of years and its served me well. However the pull out handle recently pulled completely out and wouldn't stay back in place. The steel handle bar has plastic retainers which snapped from rough handling by Airport Baggage staff. I'm sure the toolbox would have lasted longer if it were treated better.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Versatile and dueable Several years ago my son bought me one of these as a gift. I do a lot of hobby work on vehicles and spend a fair amount of time shopping at salvage yards. At first I disliked that the bottom was so cavernous and there wasn't a good way to organize wrenches, sockets and other tools in it. With a little imagination I solved that issue. I put smaller tools that I use infrequently in 40 oz. peanut butter jars and laid the jars sideways on the bottom of the chest. The jars were taller than the wheels and I found 2 plastic Sterilite containers that are about the size of a cake pan would sit nicely on top of the peanut butter jars. I put a set of metric wrenches and sockets in one Sterilite container and a set of SAE wrenches and sockets in the other. I also put a ratchet, a few extensions, a small vice grips and a multi bit screwdriver in each container. There's enough room left between the axle and side of the tool box to put a small 1/4" drive tool set and a large pair of vice grips. It does get too heavy to lift when fully loaded, but when I've wheeled it to where I want it I can remove the top tray and one or two of the plastic containers and lift it into/out of my vehicle.

Can a person sit on this?

I would like to know if this is sturdy enough for an adult to sit on this chest for extended periods of time if needed.

will this fit a circular saw and two drills?

Posée par: andy
Yes it will comfortably fit a circular saw and two drills. I can strategically fit a circular saw, impact, drill, sawzall, and grinder. All 20 volt dewalt. It is very full at that point but a good reference for max capacity.

can i put a pad lock on it?

Posée par: customer
Yes - there's a hole to the left of the main latch. You can see it in the product images. However, it's just plastic, so a padlock would only prevent someone looking out of curiosity. Also, these things aren't that heavy, so the whole thing is likely to roll away if someone wants it.

Is the bottom flat?

I would like to find a tool box to transport cleaning supplies from job to job and it's amazing how most tool boxes don't have a flat bottom to maximize storage
Posée par: Jamie
yes it is except for the very small area where the axle rod runs through the width of the box.
