Rated 4 de 5 de par Looks just as pictured Pros: Looks beautiful in the bonus room with high ceilings. It matches the bronze finishes in the room. Had it professionally installed which took about 30 minutes. Cons: Does make noise when the fan blades are on, not as quiet as some other ceiling fans that are priced cheaper. Light is not as bright in the large space. Will make another trip to the store for brighter bulbs and hope they are available. Would have thought it included a remote for the price, but does work with ceiling fan remote bought separately.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Love the fan -1 star for the blades I love these fans- they look great! My only complaint (like everyone else mentioned) is that the blades are so easily damaged. One blade was dinged before I took it out of the package. To be fair, though, I installed the brushed nickle version of the fan in the master bedroom, but the blades that came with the oil rubbed bronze fan work better for that room because they are slightly darker. I had already swapped the blades for aesthetics and have no time to pull down the other fan, mess with returns, etc. I flipped the flaw toward the ceiling and it isnt noticable. I have a vaulted ceiling and this fan works fine. Did not have to make any adjustments during installation and have had no issues with wobbling.

I was looking for something a little more modern that could really move air for a room in our house that gets hot from the summer afternoon sun. This fan has a sleek non-bulky design, but longer extended blades that move air evenly through out the room. The light may not be for everyone. I think it is perfect because I do not like a bright light on when I am watching TV, but if you want to read or do work...you will need another light source in the room.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Hampton Bay - still the easiest installation I've bought Hunter, Harbor Breeze, and Hampton Bay fans for installation in new homes. Hampton Bay has the easiest installation by far for two reasons: 1) Clear, detailed, and illustrated directions and 2) good packaging which segregates the parts you need when you need them instead of piling them all in one big bag. I was lulled into buying another brand that promised "5 Minute Installation" which took almost an hour. Never again, Hampton Bay for me. Good quality, creative designs, and easiest installation make it a do-it-yourselfer's dream.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great Price for a grand looking fan! The fan is much more complicated to install that most other fans. The results however, are worth the extra labor. The fan looks great and really solid. The extra metal accent connectors really stand out and make it look very different that most other fans. It is a bit more noisy than my previous fan.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Moves a lot of air and is very quiet. Installation is relatively easy. Be very careful installing the fan blades as they scratch easily. I suggest you place a piece of paper under the blades when inserting through the slot. Keep the paper in place until all the screws have been tightened. Light is not bright enough to illuminate a large room on it's own.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Decent looking but not top quality The shades look good from a distance, but up close you can tell they are cheaply made. The inner rim around the top is roughly glued, and I noticed that on one shade the label had actually discoloured the fabric very slightly. Only noticeable when the lamp was turned on. I just turned it to the back. Overall they are decent and they do the job - I don't regret the purchase.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Looks great but needs work. Looks great but required balancing and I had to tweak the fan hub because it rubbed against the motor housing and made a rubbing noise. The packaging was perfect so I know that it was not damaged during shipment just not the highest quality. I do not recommend this for amateur installers that are not willing to balance and adjust their fans.
