Rated 1 de 5 de par Don't Buy The battery has to do better. I have read the other reiews and our family got two years out of the battery. So we did better than the others at 6 months, and yet to order another battery at $100 plus shipping is a little much. I am a green direction person like the others on here, but I believe that a battery should go 5 to 10 years before replacing it at that price and really more like 10. I teach classes on lead acid batteries and was always careful to fully recharge the battery imediately after each use. That may be why mine lasted longer. It was satisfactory in the fall and nearly dead this spring. This has to change for this product to be successful.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Electric Lawn mower I will say Home Deport delivered the battery quickly and had a special for no shipping charges. This is important since the replacement battery is very heavy AND expensive. The screws for the cover were so tight, we could not get them loose. I had to take the mower it to the store and a garden person was very nice and spent a long time disloging the screws and then putting the battery in. The battery has a case which also takes time to uncover. The battery would have been complicated for me to put together. I would not suggest anyone buying this electric lawn mower. My battery lasted less than two years and three replacement batteries will cost more than the lawn mower. We wanted to go green but this is not yet it with a 24 volt battery to dispose.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Not perfect but good for my purposes. My half-acre (net) of cushy, deep South Florida St. Augustine/Bahia grass is tough as nails. It takes three sessions/charges to do the whole thing at the highest blade level, which is OK since I can't take the heat (and brutal aerobic workout) for more than 40 minutes at a time. Now, after 11 months (still under warranty) and probably 100 sessions/charges, the battery won't take a charge. An inconvenience certainly, but at $1 or so per session/charge, not too bad, cheaper than going to a gym. However, the cost is much higher than with my previous-model Homelite mower (separate review) battery (not the lift-out type), which lasted three years doing the same three sessions about 35 times a year.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Homelite 24 volt battery I bought this battery as a backup to the battery that came with the Homelite lawn mower. We have a big yard, over 1/2 acre and one battery charge is not enough to do the whole yard. With the second battery the entire lawn can be mowed. The new battery has a lot of power and enables the lawn mower to handle long and heavy grass with ease. It seems to hold a charge longer than the original and the recharge time is faster. Very happy with its performance and glad I purchased it!

Rated 1 de 5 de par This battery would not hold a charge I charged up this battery for 18 hours before using, and it would not hold a charge. I tried 3 times to charge the battery and it only semi charged and would not mow my lawn. I am returning it.

Rated 1 de 5 de par High price to pay for convenience We purchased the Homelite cordless mower for the convenience and ease of use. We did not expect that the initial high-price of the mower, around $300, would be just the beginning. Like many others, in less than two years after the initial purchase the lawn mower battery no longer holds a full charge. The replacement cost...+$100. While I do appreciate the fact that replacement batteries are now available through Home Depot, I question whether Home Depot wants to continue to carry inferior products such as this.

Rated 2 de 5 de par homelite 24v mower unit came with 2 12v batteries in series. lasted 6mo. new 24v battery $120.00. makes mower cost prohibited within a year or 2. so much for going green. at least gas should last 4 or 5 years.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Two Years, still cheaper/cleaner than gasoline When I was first planning to buy the wife a battery operated mower, many of the reviews said batteries only lasted two years. I went ahead and bought one, and in the manual it cautioned on how/when to charge the battery. I followed the directions very carefully, still, after two years, it needed a new battery. After considering the use, and such, I decided that a new battery every two years is still a good deal: cheaper than gasoline (especially at $4 a gallon) and much easier for the wife to use (no pulling a choking and so forth on the gas one.

Where can I obtain a battery charger?

Posée par: Anonyme
You can order one through your local Home Depot associate or perhaps a service center would have one available for purchase
