Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent product, built to last! The Husky 21 Degree framing hammer is an excellent product that I matched with my 33 Gallon Husky air compressor. Now, this much air is not necessary but it certainly did the trick. I had started a weekend project building a shed for a good friend in need of a housing for his off road toys. This framing nailer was easily able to handle our project. In the three days we were at it we were able to get the entire frame up, the side pannels, and roofing completed. Now, the nailer is quite heavy and it can take its toll on your hand/wrist if you are using it for some time, so I recommend taking small breaks in between getting your frame up. I would have expected to pay more for something of this quality. The price is to hard to beat.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Powerful Framing Nailer I am very impressed with the firing power of this nail gun. Each nail is set with a strong blow and driven with authority. Loading and unloading nails is smooth and easy. The nailer is lightweight and easy to handle with its comfortable rubberized grip. The air hose attachment point swivels, and the gun can be set for rapid fire or single fire. A fairly high capacity compressor (over 7 cfm) is needed to support the rapid fire feature, but single fire is practical for use with a lower capacity unit. The nail gun ships with the tools needed for basic maintenance and a bottle of oil for internal lubrication. I found the recoil from each firing modest. This is a very nicely constructed tool, smooth operating tool.

Fired about 500 3" exterior ring shank, and 1500 2" exterior ring shank nails (plastic collated, Grip Rite). Zero jams, zero misfires. Easy to load (and unload) nail strips. The toolless depth adjustment is easy to use and fine-tune, and I noticed better depth consistency and far less flagging with the plastic tip guard removed, without significant surface marring. Operated at 90psi, no trouble driving 3" exterior ring shank nails (the boards must be solidly braced to prevent rebound, else the nail may not drive to full depth, just a noobie lesson I learned). Certainly did the job well for me!

Rated 5 de 5 de par So much easier then using a hammer I have several nail guns but never had a framing nailer. I always just used a hammer. But I was amazed at how fast you can frame out a wall with this tool. I only have a small compressor and it has no problem driving 3" nails. Its a little hard on the hand after a while but I just take a break in between walls. We are framing out our pole barn so we can add plywood to use to hang tools. For the price this nailer is perfect.

Lighter than the others and just as powerful if not more. I have sent over 2000 3 inch nails since opening the box and it has made a huge difference in my project. It needs a rafter hook but that is the only down fall. Dial your depth to countersink or stay flush, flip the trigger switch for pew or pew pew pew, all you need to do is hold on, this gun has some power! I would buy another in a minute and would tell you to do the same!

Rated 4 de 5 de par This is the first framing nail gun I have... This is the first framing nail gun I have purchased, or used. I can say that I have had no issues with it. I wish I had purchased it at the beginning of my project, it would have saved me a lot of time and my arm from hammering so many nails. Live and learn. The gun is large and somewhat heavy, but when I checked out other guns, they all seem about the same to me. The reason I purchased this gun was price. It was a good value and it working well and appears to be money well spent. I have no complaints. I would give it an excellent rating except as I mentioned, I have never used any other framing gun. So, I have no way to compare them.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent Weekend Warrior Tool Got this framing nailer to assist with many ongoing weekend warrior projects, and it has worked like a dream. Easy to use and extremely powerful. With only a small 60lb compressor it effortlessly drove nails into 100 year old 2 x 8s to attach a hanging mechanism in the basement. The hand grip is flimsy, but padded gloves reduced the tension on my hand. Overall, I definitely recommend it. It saves a lot of time!

I have been looking for a framing nailer for quite a while for use at home and I much prefer the full head type. The price for this one, plus the reputation of Husky tools made this decision pretty easy. I've only had it for a short time so I can't review based on reliability over the long term but so far it seems just fine. A lot of the wood in my 90 year old house is exceptionally hard and dense but my tests on samples reveal that this nailer has no problem driving the nails flush.

Can this nailer be used to put up crown molding?

Posée par: RJ
No!!! And I can’t believe some people answered yes! I mean technically you could use it to nail up anything but if you want to ruin your project, go ahead and use it for trim! It’s labeled as a “framing Nailer” and not a “finish nailer” so this framing nailer is intended for studs and joists etc. and finish nailers are for trim like moldings, casings, crown etc. IMO, if you don’t know the difference or didn’t read the description, maybe you shouldn’t be using power tools? Lol.

why does this nailer stop working with 4 nails still left in the chamber? I checked for jamming ...

Posée par: tony
I think it’s to protect the hammer in the head of the nail gun. Mine does the same thing. Also check the air pressure in your compressor, if It gets too high the gun won’t fire, I had that problem too when it got low on nails.
