Rated 4 de 5 de par Nice product! Needs improvement! Problems I came across. 1. Starting block not flush, it`s like a speed bump, and hampers the cut while starting the sled. Will sand down until I can pull it back and forth with no bump or catching. 2. Instructions could be better on setting up a circular saw on the sled, and adjustments to track. 3. The positioning of the blade 1/32 of an inch to take out that much of the chip board to get to zero was a little confusing. I just positioned the blade flush up against the anti chip board with none of the teeth touching it, locked into place and did the initial cut to get to zero. Worked great! Other than that, I really like this product!

The user needs to know that there is some setup involved prior to making your first cut. The track mating surfaces did not butt together perfectly and needed some filing to both face surfaces. When mounting the universal sled to your saw, you may need to make modifications to your blade guard. You need to ensure that the starting block seats squarely into the tracks, or it can throw your cuts off when seating it against the edge of your board. After trimming off the required 32nd of the edge guide I was ready to make a cut, The Kreg Accu cut worked out fine. The cut was very straight and did not leave a torn-out edge. Of course the true test will be repeat ability over time.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Disappointed in Kreg I bought this flimsy product to get a straight cut to join a table top. Had some issues with this cheap plastic product so I contacted customer service. Just like on the Jig the plastic is easy to wear and does not last. I asked for two small parts after purchasing two of the Accu Cut products and spending nearly $200. Todd Burton in customer service told me to buy a third product to get the $2 cheap parts I needed. I explained I had purchased several Kreg products and have been a good customer but he had no care in the world. I will never buy another Kreg product. There are too many competitors with better built products who care about customers to deal with Kreg anymore.

Rated 5 de 5 de par works as adverised. I read several reviews, both good and bad. Some of the bad said there is too much play. Must not have it set up correctly. I bought mine to cut down full sheets of plywood before cutting them to size on my table saw. So far I’ve cut down 3 sheets of 1/4, a couple of sheets of 1/2 and about 12 sheets of 3/4 birch for cabinets. All of my cuts have been zero clearance cuts. Quick and easy to set up, no clamps needed other than to hold down 1 side of the sled while squaring up the other side by yourself. Mine is set up on a Skill Saw brand circular saw. I also used it to make a few angled cuts as well. I definitely recommend this product.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Whats the issue? After reading all of the reviews I became skeptical of buying this, had it in my hand twice at HD and put it back and continued shopping. in the end I went back and grabbed it knowing if it was as bad as some of these reviews say I could return it. I put it together in about 2 minutes and secured my saw then proceeded to use. thing had no side play that I could notice, followed my caulk line dead straight and I even used it like a plunge cut saw on the boat dock ramp in pictures. Today I'm going to rip some birch plywood down with it and I'm pretty confident it's going to perform well. my only question is can I buy another one and add on to it to make an 8 ft run.....I don't think so but I haven't looked yet. Overall I can't complain at all.

Rated 5 de 5 de par It’s great! I read the bad reviews before buying, but I figured it can’t be that hard to engineer this thing and if there’s terrible play in the track I’d figure something out. Well there’s about 1/16th, so if you’re moving it along twisted you could end up with wider cut than anticipated. I just made sure to apply a little left or right pressure along with forward to ensure a clean cut. AND IT WAS CLEAN! Assembly including the saw mounting probably took 15 minutes. It’s a precision saw so I took my time. I live in a condo so storage for a table saw isn’t in the cards. This was a great alternative for me. In fact I’m not sure I’ll ever need one now.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Made in USA, NOT Made in China For those 1diots who gave bad reviews, but can't read the packaging that clearly says "Made in USA." LOL. Pretty funny. You know, the type of people who gives bad review on the product, but don't bother to read the manual, then blame others for their low IQ. Product is average, plasticky, and overpriced. Feels more like a sub $50 dollar product. But hey, lets overprice it because there are 1diots who will buy anything with a "Made in USA" label and think it's the best. This product was probably made by the same 1diots who write HD reviews about Made in China junk without reading the label that says Made in USA. LOL.

I am a Kreg fan, and can't count the number of times I've used the pocket hole jig among other products. This, however, is a complete "whiff". The the saw attachment is cheap and doesn't secure the saw base due to the fact it's plastic and not sturdy enough to hold a 7-8 lb saw. The guide on the under side of the saw attachment doesn't secure well in the track, all due to the fact the whole thing is poorly made. Kreg could've made a better quality product, and charged more and customers would've been happy. The only people who will like this have never wood worked at all before.

If the plywood has a bow in the middle does the track conform with the bow or does it stay raised up.
Posée par: lookingtobuy
The Kreg track does have some play in it, so it depends on how much your plywood bows. There has been times where I've had to use a clamp so that the Kreg track can conform to the bow. I remove the clamp when I get close to it.

Does it work with ryobi saw

Posée par: Chuck
The Accu-Cut sled will work with most saws on the market. Unfortunately with the vast number of models that are constantly changing we do not have a list detailing every model. However, as long as there are two flat spots where the swivel lock down arms can reach on the tool plate of the saw it should work.

What is the shortest cut I can safely make? I want to crosscut plywood that is 14" across.
Posée par: Railer
You should experience no issues with cross cutting, even smaller than 14 inches. The base of the track actually comes in two 24 inch (approximately) sections - use independently or as one 48 inch base when attached together. The underside of the base has a material that will not slide off your workpiece.

Can extensions be purchased to extend the cut to say, 96"? If not, could I suggest this as a future enhancement.
Posée par: Dj
In theory, you can just join multiple track sections. However, the splice assembly between the track sections is a little bit flimsy and I would be concerned about some sort of "mega track" not staying straight if you were to lift or carry it in the wrong position. I will say that once dialed in, the unit gives very accurate cuts so I found making 96" rips to not be an issue when I slid the track down the piece to finish the cut.
