It was the only decent flashlight still on the shelf and I already had a good supply of C-cell batteries. Solid, well made flashlight that should last me a good many years. Pros: Functions very well, good light output, beam easily focused (adjusted) and American made. Cons: There are 3 settings (high, low and Eco). Almost no discernible difference between high and low beam so, I use the Eco setting for low beam. Heavy for its size and will easily roll on a hard surface. Expensive.

Costs more but well worth it. Easy to go from spot to flood. Three power settings to conserve on the batteries when you don't need the extra light. Other settings if you want them, such as strobe. Finally, it is really nice to be able to buy a product made in the USA. That and the quality of this flashlight will make you proud.

After spending a lot of time reviewing a variety of flashlights, two very kind male store employees (sorry I lost their names: the store mgr. and a dept. mgr.) patiently listened to my wishes and helped me find the perfect LED flashlight for my needs. I'm on 3/4 acre in the country and walk my dog every night before bedtime. I needed a dependable, strong, far-reaching light, not too heavy flashlight to use on my evening trips with the dog. I couldn't be happier with the final selection. I'm thrilled with this product, after going through many others at home that turned out to be a disappointment after a short time. I'm also grateful for the help and patience of the store employees, without whom I probably would have purchased another flashlight that would eventually go into my disposal bag.

I've tried upgrades & results range from "meh" to "yech." Bought the 2C light on a whim and holy cow! I love the bright white light. It's as bright as my 4D incandescant! I also like the ability to select "low" if desired for longer run time. Only downside is the beam is not as adjustable as the bigger lights but the light weight and small size is a reasonable tradeoff.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Maglite Flashlights a Product You Can Depend On Maglite flashlights are well made, very reliable and you can depend on them when you need them. This is a product that with resonable care will last your life time and beyond. Follow the instructions regarding product care. Other then physically smashing your Maglite the most likely way it would be destroyed is by leaving batteries in it to leak. If you use your Maglite a lot over time it will get scratched up due to normal wear and tear. Some parts can be replaced if needed. For example if the lense is damaged to the extent that it affects the preformance of the flash light you can buy a replacement lense and change it yourself. You check on line to see what parts are available. Maglite's product line has many versions of thier dependable flashlights, find which one fits your need best. Some of the newest LED versions can provide the longest battery life and resonable light output, for a Maglite, which is very important during an emergency.

Love this flashlight, it's always night when I have to check the fuse box because of an outage but when using this baby at night it's like having a mobile flood light in hand. Went back for a second Maglite but they were sold out, hands down this is the best flashlight I've purchased.

I have mag charger but there to heavy and to large to work with......thank you home depot for carrying mag light in your stores.....

I have this flashlight and love it. Have had others that lose their brightness after a week or two. My question: How/When can I order another one (or two). It seems these are not available anywhere near me or on the website. Hopefully you have not discontinued it.

Although this particular model is not available anymore, there are a few other choices currently stocked or available to order online at Home Depot as of 7/25/2020. The 2C-3C LED Flashlight Lite Pack might be one choice and at a lower price point. Note that the 2C in that combo pack does not have the advanced features (high lumen, multiple modes) of the discontinued flashlight. However, they still may suit your purpose.

Yes. LED upgrade bulbs are readily available including at Home Depot. One just replaces the standard bulb with the LED bulb module.
