Rated 5 de 5 de par Every time the same tool I Use this nice Tool for diy, but how can i change the blade?

Rated 4 de 5 de par A handy tool for cleaning pipe [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a professional plumber but I do work with PVC around the house for plumbing and fish pond projects. In addition to cutting pipe I drill a lot of holes for strainers and drainage with PVC. Rounding off corners has always been a problem. I don't want the sharp edges left from drilling or cutting, but never had a good quick fix. Enter the reaming pen. Quick, effective, simple to use. Put the cutter end in the pipe or hole, run it around the edge a few times, the edge is rounded over. There is a small learning curve to get the right bite on the edge to produce a smooth corner but for plumbing and fish pond work it seems fine.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Dulls too quickly for non-replaceable blades I don't know why I bought so many of these things, Milwaukee's always been one of my favorite brands. I've been in aerospace for a couple of years now and every time I get one of these I regret it because I remember that the blade is not going to say start very long working with the composites that I work with, and I can't replace it. So frustrating, but only frustrated with myself because I know better and continue to buy them.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Stout design [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Milwaukee "Reaming Pen" is build tough. I have used other brands before and this one holds up very well. The reaming edge is hardened so it keeps its edge very well. The handle is hex shaped so it is easy to hold on to and the head swivels so you do not have to keep repositioning the tool. It also has a smooth round end so it will not scratch if you slip when yo are reaming edges. I have used it on sheet steel and copper pipe and it works great.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Handy little tool. Made for copper, but I used it on EMT and it works fine [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Place this inside the pipe, give it a quick twirl and just like that you have clean ends to your copper or steel pipe. I've been working on a prototype for a small glockenspiel (think Xylophone) made from EMT (conduit pipe). The project requires lots of precision cut lengths of tubing to make the "idiophones", each cut so they produce a specific note when struck with a mallet. I tried two methods of cutting, one, using a wheel type tubing cutter made for copper pipe, and the other using a finetoothed metal cutting blade in the sawzall. Both methods worked, but left a burr on the inside of the pipe. I was worried that students would get cut when they stuck their fingers into the tube. This little reamer to the rescue. It's got a sharp carbide cutter and with a few quick swirls around the inside of the tube I had nice smooth tubes that wont hurt anyone.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Blade is replaceable Creates a nice smooth surface on the inner diameter of pipe. The blade is replaceable as milwaukee indicates. I removed the blade by using a crescent wrench on the right angle at the end of the blade. With a little bit of force it comes striaght out. Replacement blades are 48-22-4257. They come in a pack of 3. Once blade is removed simply insert a new one.
