Rated 5 de 5 de par Great value, easy to use Great product, and a great value compared to similar products in this price range. To use this product properly, you need to knead it for a good 30 sec to 1 minute. Cut the amount you need, don’t rip it off the end, or you risk not having a proper balance of the 2 compounds that blend to form your putty. I used this to repair the “stone” finish on our fire table (it chipped and flakes away over the winter). Sanded down well after drying and took the enamel paint without issue.

Rated 5 de 5 de par a little trick to make using it easy Some reviews were talking about it being so sticky to work with and sticking to your hands. The trick is keeping your hands wet with water, You can spread and smooth it with out it sticking to your hands,Keep a wet rag while working with it. You can even drop a little water on it it will cure even under water. I love this stuuf have used it for years.I works great on any gravity drain.( Not for pressure stuff as water pipes). It is made by many companies and under many names, but it all works the same.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Works on Chrome Plate Metal P Trap I bought a smaller size version (#48450) to patch a 5mm hole in a metal P-trap (underside) and to fix a leak in the drain pipe of a bathroom sink. The putty worked even when both areas were still wet. Both are now leak free. The Youtube video of this product over-simplifies the process. I suggest follow the instruction on the back of the package. The knead time is VERY short. I cut a small amount to make the mixing faster. Key point is to hold the putty in place for a minute or so if applying to a wet area. It slides easily on smooth surface and small pieces may separate. Curing time - I gave it 24 hours to be safe.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Used for loose hand railings I used this to secure loose hand rails on the the steps of my front porch. The epoxy that was set in holes about 15 years ago started deteriorating. I cleaned out what I could from the old epoxy, and put this putty into the holes for the hand rails. Within an hour or two it was rock solid. Amazing stuff!

Rated 4 de 5 de par Worked good for me Used it to repair leak at an ABS elbow that was next to impossible to replace. Leak was at the top and this did the trick.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Did the job I bought this after reading the reviews stating decent value for money and effectiveness. I bought this to fix plastic on some decorative garden lights where squirrels snapped the plastic. So far, I cut off a 1cm piece for the first ornament. Mixed and applied as per instructions. Checked it was hardening in 5 mins and mixed another 1cm for the other light. Mixing was easy. I rec one day cutting the slice off with a sharp knife and not it has a thin plastic around the actual putty you need to remove. This was my first time using a putty like this, and it was easy and simple

Rated 4 de 5 de par Exactly what I needed I was looking for something to fix a crack in my dashboard of my car. I had brought epoxy glues but they did not hold. I came across this product and read the reviews and decided to try it. It was perfect for what I wanted. I just followed the directions, mixed the putty and applied it to the crack in the dashboard and smoothed it out. I waited until the next day to sand and spray paint black to match the dashboard color and it came out perfect. It dries hard as a rock. I have already used it again to fix a part in my other car that broke from wear and tear. I definitely recommend this product.

How is the Epoxy Putty applied? Can it be molded with your fingers and put in place to plug up a hole?

Posée par: Mickey392
Yes this can be molded with your fingers and put in place to plug up a whole. We do recommend wearing gloves while working with this product. Clean and dry the surface. Smooth surfaces should be roughed up by sanding or filing prior to applying putty. Twist or cut off required amount of putty. Roll and knead putty until colour is uniform grey with no streaks. Apply mixed putty to surface forcing into cracks or holes. Remove any excess material before hardening begins. For use in wet or damp areas, work material forcefully into the area and apply pressure until adhesion occurs. Cure time is 24 hours.

Can this product be used to repair a crack in a rain barrel? Will the final cured product make the water in the barrel harmful to potted flowers?

Posée par: Mark
Yes, you can use the epoxy for the rain barrel. No it will not affect the quality of the water or have a negative impact on the plants. I use this product for any number of applications I.E. drain pipes, filling holes in wood or concrete or brick. If you intend to put a screw or plug in the hole mix the epoxy and place both in the hole at the same time and let it cure (set).

I have an old iron pipe in my home that is leaking. Sump pump water passes through it to the street. Would this product work on it to seal thin crack in the area of a joint? If not, is there something you can recommend?

Posée par: NSCu
It most likely will work. But keep in mind that it should be a temporary fix and that the pipe should be replaced. If the pipe is leaking most likely it is heavily rusted in the inside. The epoxy wrap SKU # 1000162501 would be another alternative

can i use it with little water driping ? bcz i cant stop running water

Posée par: ajay
No, Hire a plumber. This is for a cut in the pipe not dripping, you need a washer for your type of faucet for that.

Can this be used on plumbing to seal a slow leak in a copper pipe joint?

Posée par: Bob by
I have no experience using this on piping which is dry or wet. I used it to seal a rod in a piece of wood. Also, used it to repair chipped pottery. The epoxy putty is very stiff to work with and would not work with wet parts.

Will this bond rebar to galvanized steel just like a tack weld for a light adhesion ?

Posée par: Shinx
Hi, Last winter , the snow removal company broke my exterior light on top of steel post . The post top bracket was cut off quite bad. Before replacing the whole top part , I decided to try to join the parts with putty. I was quite impressed how hard it turned out and I even painted it black to match the rest, I recommend this stuff. It should work for what you want. Regards Guy

Will this product work inside a dishwasher? I found a little hole inside my dishwasher i was wondering if i can use this to patch it.

Posée par: Devis91
Not tested but it is good being exposed to water and will adhere to it. You may want to sand the area first also for a better bond Thanks,
