Rated 5 de 5 de par The best Framing nailer: quality parts, heavy duty, ergonomic design, no jams, The best Framing nailer on the market (for a DIY Weekend warrior - I'm sure if you were a pro and used it everyday it would be worth it to buy a $550 nailer): quality parts, heavy duty, ergonomic design, no jams, well balanced. Love the belt clip. Love the clipped head nails and how many nails get loaded. Less time loading nails - always a plus! I like the adjustability of the nail depth. I like rigid tools and have had great success in the past with them (not perfect - but great). Love the lifetime warranty. I find the 30 degree angle to be the best for me. Used it to build sheds at my house and the neighbors. Worked great for framing and hanging wall panels.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Framer I am in the construction field for 20 years and have had every different gun on the market I wanted to be excited over this gun. It will do OK when nailing walls together. And that's it. Don't even try to nail down decking or sheeting as I have many Ridgid tools and this gun is very light weight and it won't keep up. Just nailing walls together I had to slow down so it would sync the nails and keep up. And it's not an air compressor issue at all

Rated 4 de 5 de par great nailer good price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started working with my brother last week and bought this after half a day driving nails by hand, it is a life saver it was 0 or 1 degree today depending on the thermometer you looked at, it took awhile to get our compressor going but once it started the nailer was going at it problem free. It has worked great the 2 days I have used the only draw back to the gun is that it will not feed the last 3-4 nails and that is the ONLY reason it got a 4 instead of a 5. My brother is used to hitachi, but he agrees with me this is a GREAT nailer. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nailer, It works great and is very simple to use, and affordable.

Rated 4 de 5 de par LSA Registration Pain The nailer its self is great, works very well and Im pleased so far. BUT Ridgid needs to get their act together on registering "Online Order Products". Its get rejected and you have mail in orginal receipt... ahh it was an online order so all they can hopeful is copy printed from my emailed receipt.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Rigid Full Head Framing Nailer I like the nailer because it's light and strong even the air copresor is set to 90 psi only. Also the waranty of rigid is life time compared to others you have to buy extended warranty. The color is very nice because you can see you tool right away in the distance.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Hate it I bought this gun for workworking as a full time remodeler, not a ton of framing. It is okay for framing walls, but is worthless for sheeting/subfloor nailing. I hate the gun and wish I had just bought a Paslode. Probably good for a weekend warrior and that's it.I've had it for two years and it's been in the shop at least 5x's.

Rated 5 de 5 de par The nailer worked great We just finished framing up a large porch roof and sheeting it. The nailer is light weight, compact and performed very well. We drove both 3-1/4" smooth framing nails and 2-1/4" ring-shank nails. The depth setting was easily adjusted to accommodate both nail and wood variations.

Rated 5 de 5 de par 3 1/2 In. Clipped Head Framing Nailer I have used this nailer for everything from framing to fencing and it preformed great. I never had it jam or miss fire. I have talked to other contractors and they prefered the ridgid to some of the more expensive brands that don't even have half the features of the ridgid.

HI, my question is, on the nail guns can I use the same type of nails round and clipped head nails?

Posée par: elias
I have a Senco that uses clipped head nails. Senco stated the nailer can shoot Paslode Roundrive full round head nails. The offset of the head is like a clipped head and there is no issue in using them. Sounds like the Ridgid will do the same as you have already mentioned.

What angle nails does it use?

I am looking at a Ridgid R350CHE but there is no listing of the angle of the nail used. Will this shoot 30° Paslode nails?
Posée par: Rick
The RIDGID R350CHE uses 30-34 degree collated clipped head nails. Thank you RIDGID

Hi, I purchased a nail gun Model # R350CHD and I can't find nails for it anymore will the nails for the Model # R350CHE be compatible?

I have been to Home Depot and we can not find nails that will go with the specs for our gun. I will probably have to order them online but I wanted to make sure that I am getting the right nails for my gun.
Posée par: Shells
Hi Shell. Sorry you are having trouble. Both models do take the same nails. We do not make the nails but there are brands you can purchase for your model. It uses 30-34 degree nails and companies like Grip-Rite, Hitachi, Paslode, Porter-Cable, and Senco will work with your unit. Also any nails in The Home Depot with the orange "30° clipped head nail" icon will also fit your model. Good luck!

does this use 30 degree nails

Posée par: Tom
Yes, this gun uses 30 degree (not 21 degree) clipped head (not round head) nails. They spec paper tape nails.

I thought clipped head nails only had 1/2 a head. One of the answers seemed to indicate there is no head. Explain please.

Posée par: Ron
It definitely has a head. It is a little more than half a head. Maybe missing 35-40%. The head is "D" shaped.
