Rated 4 de 5 de par great nailer good price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started working with my brother last week and bought this after half a day driving nails by hand, it is a life saver it was 0 or 1 degree today depending on the thermometer you looked at, it took awhile to get our compressor going but once it started the nailer was going at it problem free. It has worked great the 2 days I have used the only draw back to the gun is that it will not feed the last 3-4 nails and that is the ONLY reason it got a 4 instead of a 5. My brother is used to hitachi, but he agrees with me this is a GREAT nailer. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nailer, It works great and is very simple to use, and affordable.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Light and Ergonomical Nice gun, light and comfortable to work with. Have had endless problems with jamming, firing double nails and will NOT fire nails into Laminated beams. The gun has been sent in for warrenty work to fix the problems but came back and still does not perform well. I have used an older model and works flawless, nothing but trouble with this one... hopefully this is just a one off issue.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Rigid Full Head Framing Nailer I like the nailer because it's light and strong even the air copresor is set to 90 psi only. Also the waranty of rigid is life time compared to others you have to buy extended warranty. The color is very nice because you can see you tool right away in the distance.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Good average nailer Pro's: lightweight compared to other brands, swivel hook, swivel air connector, single nail/auto setting is easy changed, depth-setting is easy to adjust Con's: doesn't sink the nails when toe-nailing. 2-3/8 or 3-1/4 it gives you the same result even when depth is set to full. This makes this nailer only efficient for nailing straight nails (plying LVL's with 3-1/4, shooting straight no problem)

Rated 5 de 5 de par Completely Satisfied I bought this air nailer a month ago. Used it on a job, shot 6500 2in nails, 3000 3.5in nails, and there were no issues. Overall, the nailer works very well and I would have no issues recommending it.

HI, my question is, on the nail guns can I use the same type of nails round and clipped head nails?

Posée par: elias
I have a Senco that uses clipped head nails. Senco stated the nailer can shoot Paslode Roundrive full round head nails. The offset of the head is like a clipped head and there is no issue in using them. Sounds like the Ridgid will do the same as you have already mentioned.

What angle nails does it use?

I am looking at a Ridgid R350CHE but there is no listing of the angle of the nail used. Will this shoot 30° Paslode nails?
Posée par: Rick
The RIDGID R350CHE uses 30-34 degree collated clipped head nails. Thank you RIDGID

Hi, I purchased a nail gun Model # R350CHD and I can't find nails for it anymore will the nails for the Model # R350CHE be compatible?

I have been to Home Depot and we can not find nails that will go with the specs for our gun. I will probably have to order them online but I wanted to make sure that I am getting the right nails for my gun.
Posée par: Shells
Pretty much any vendor’s 30 degree clipped nails will work. I’ve used Paslode and others from Home Depot.

does this use 30 degree nails

Posée par: Tom
Yes, this gun uses 30 degree (not 21 degree) clipped head (not round head) nails. They spec paper tape nails.

What is the difference between round head and clipped head? And is there any advantage with one over the other??

Posée par: Rman
The difference is the shape of the head of the nail. Round head is a full 360 degree head. Like a full moon or pizza. Clipped head has a notch cut out of the head, like a 3/4 moon or a pizza with a huge bite taken out of it. If you use round head nails in a gun made for clipped head, the gun will jam and you will spend all your time clearing the jams....
