Rated 1 de 5 de par Could Be Better! Roof Issue Bought this shed a week ago, took me about 4 hours to install by myself. Love the look of this shed however even though this is the new and improved 7x7 shed by Rubbermaid there is still a flaw in the roofing design. The clips that hold part of the roof do NOT probably "snap" into place as they should. It seems the plastic material is not pronounced enough for the bolt to secure. Maybe this is just a defect in the shed I received. However, I now have a shed with a roof that I am unable to secure, one good windy day and it could be done. Not every happy with this as I was very intrigued by the design and look of this shed!

Rated 1 de 5 de par Do not recommend Don’t waste your money and time. Assembly wasn’t easy and it took more time and more people than advertised which wouldn’t be an issue if it was more sturdy to survive the elements. We only had it 6 months and during high winds the entire shed blew off of the floor and came completely apart and we lost some irreplaceable items. The shed looks awesome, but now we are left with a $1095 + tax pile of plastic waste. Extremely disappointed! Should have read the reviews before purchasing as via reviews found out after Rubbermaid’s 10 year warranty does not cover ‘acts of nature’ including wind, snow, etc.. I won’t waste any of my precious time trying to contact them to get the same answer.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Problems My wife and I assembled this 7x7 shed. There were missing holes in the center roof panel and had to drill these and of course the 4 locking pins do not lock into place and we secured these with duck tape. One slot for the locking wall had to be trimmed out to accept the wall locking tab. Window panel paper covering does not peel as shown in the assembly video on YOUTUBE. The doors each had to be trimmed to remove 2 knockouts to accept the hinges. All full sized wall panels were warped about 3/8 inch so the shed had to be assembled with 2 people. Sorry, we do not recommend this shed....

Rated 1 de 5 de par Does not stay together in strong winds I have had this shed for approximately 6 months now and it has blown apart twice. The walls click into the shed floor, but in strong winds they pull right back out. The first storm was approximately 75km/h winds and unclicked the floor, but otherwise stayed together. Yesterday's storm had 100km/h winds. The entire shed blew off of the floor and came completely apart. I should also mention that one of the main metal support beams was slightly too long causing the roof to not fit perfectly and the metal pins that hold the roof on to the walls do not all click into their channels. The shed looks awesome, but at this point I am left with a $1000 pile of plastic waste. Very disappointed!

Rated 4 de 5 de par Semi-easy Install Storage Shed Final result: Good looking shed that's ideal for lawn/garden equipment. Forget the "1 Person Assembly". Minimum two people. I read the manual thoroughly and watched several Youtube videos for assembling this product (highly recommended) and there's just no way one person can assemble it on their own. It took two very capable handypersons 4 hours to assemble it. The manual calls for dish soap to lube up the wall segments for assembly. We found this to be crucial. At first we figured we didn't need it but make sure you have it or you'll have difficulty assembling it. Using an impact drill will certainly speed things up but use a hand screwdriver for assembling the plastic window. It's quite brittle and will easily crack if you use a power driver. Some of the holes don't line up perfectly so we had to re-drill them, especially when it came to mounting the doors. It's a decent shed for the price. It's not waterproof and water will drip inside during a strong rainstorm. We built a base for it with deck blocks, pressure treated 2X4 and pressure treated 3/4" plywood and a small ramp.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Hopefully will keep things dry! Crappy design. I LOVED our old Rubbermaid shed it is well over 10 years old, moved at least 7 times and still going strong. BUT THIS SHED IS CRAP! If it was not so large I would haver returned it! But we are making do. The wall pieces do not all “snap” into place in the floor grooves, a couple of the groves were not even punched out or too narrow so we had to trim them. Once we got past that it started to get a little easier, but not by much.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Overall great shed Finished putting the shed together last week and it looks so great. Pros: - The doors are very wide making it so much easier to get bigger items inside without having to dismantle the tetris layout every time. - Aesthetically, the shed is adorable. Very attractive and modern. - It's super tall. A tall person would have no problem standing upright inside. Things I noticed: - I would be shocked and surprised if someone could install the shed completely on their own without genuinely wanting to set it on fire and succumbing to tears every 20 minutes. - My husband and I found installing the shed pretty easy with the two of us and I am more than willing to admit that we are both considered 'below average' in terms of being handy. Took us just under 5 hours in total. - Purchasing rubbermaid shed accessories were integral to my satisfaction with this shed. HD doesn't sell all of the accessories available unfortunately, but doing a little online search will take care of that. The black ones with red hanging devices fit this shed flawlessly. Issues I had: - The two back wall panels seemed too wide to snap the connectors into the base where the two panels met. If one panel snapped in completely, the other couldn't because the panels seemed to hit each other/were too close. We opted in to leave the connectors in the middle of the base unsnapped. Despite this, it still seems pretty solid. We have the shed installed in the corner against the fence so we don't anticipate this being a big problem. Our concrete pad was pretty level so I am not sure what the issue was here.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Very poor quality For the price they are charging the quality of this shed is way below poor. There were many issues with the shed. Just to name a couple: 1. There is a whole in the shed's wall. Seems like a factory defect. 2. The roof can't be attached properly and there are gaps. 3. Some walls don't connect to each other fully, as a result you have gaps in the walls and water can get in easily. 4. Some predrilled screw holes not aligned properly and you have to drill your own holes. I did sent email to Rubbermaid customer service but never received any reply.

Does this shed come with a base or do we need to build a separate base for it?

The shed comes with a floor, but I will put down patio stones underneath for a stronger base.

Best to get your own shelving unit, then you can place it anywhere. It's not likely you will find a Rubbermaid Shelf accessory for this shed at Home Depot.

The side wall panels (C & E) held by S-3 and the back wall panels (F & H) held by S-4 have significant gaps between them, which let rain / snow go into the shed. What is the recommended method to fix the gaping issue of the panels as they don't overlap?

I don’t know.  I had a wood platform built to set it on. I didn’t anchor it. The weight of the items inside holds it down.

Probably because the ground isn't flat enough or it isn't perfectly level. You might try putting a piece of 2x4 under one of the front corners to fix the problem.
