Rated 4 de 5 de par Good for the job at hand I am a 64 year old female that assembled this unit by myself. For me, it is a good value and does the job at hand. I needed to get my bigger items out of the garage. I have a small yard so this shed fit the bill on all counts. It took me about an hour to open the box, haul all the pieces into the back yard, and cut up and dispose of the box. It took about three hours to actually assemble the unit. The directions are pretty straing forward and easy to follow and I only needed a rubber mallet and a drill. It seems pretty sturdy but I have no idea how it will hold up in wind. It looks good in the yard and holds all my stuff as planned.

Rated 4 de 5 de par The replacement for the damaged during delivery shed is easy to assemble and holds lots. My first shed arrived late, damaged and missing parts. I was really annoyed since it was a very awkward store pickup and return. The store and manufacturer were apologetic and extremely helpful. They gave me an extra $20 off the sale price and arranged for a very prompt free home delivery. The second shed was quick and easy to assemble and is perfect for my tiny yard. Having this shed allows me to enjoy my 600 sq. foot home and use my screened porch for living rather than storage. The shed can be seen from the street and is attractive and hides my unattractive garbage bin. It was probably worth all of the hassle caused by the original purchase.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Quality product! Just received our large, vertical storage shed and because it was properly packaged including plastic wrap, there was no damage to the contents of the shipping container. There were no missing parts and although the assembly instructions were primarily pictures instead of written instructions, we were able to easily assemble the shed with nothing more than a small drill and a manual screw driver. We did not use a power driver due to fear of stripping out the screw holes. After assembly in the garage, we used a two wheel dolly to move it outside to our cement patio and so far - we love our NewellRubbermaild Large Vertical Storage Shed!

Rated 1 de 5 de par Doors fall off and shed literally falls apart This shed seems like a great idea, relatively inexpensive for size, appealing color scheme... but don't buy this! Spend the extra couple hundred dollars and buy a "real" shed! We bought this for year toys... yes it is on a level surface #a concrete slab#. The shed doors fall off every single time I open the thing and in a gust of wind the roof panels fly off. After a wind storm #we are NOT in tornado alley# proceeding rain the shed literally separated and fell apart #so much for storage as I chased my son's toys around the yard#. NOT DURABLE, NOT LONG LASTING and NOT WORTH the money just to recycle in the end. SO sad to have lost money on this shed in just over a year!!!!!).

Rated 2 de 5 de par Compatible Accessories Impossible to Figure Out I picked up this shed (1V31) and installed it yesterday. I waited to buy accessories thinking Rubbermaid would have 'accurate' information with the paperwork. Not even close. Going online is a disaster. Nothing is consistent from the model number of the shed to the not-compatible lists. The same terminology and model numbers are not used. Even this Q&A section has a Rubbermaid answer referring to the Storage Shed Accessory Shopping List link...that list doesn't even include the 1V31! No wonder people are making their own designs out of plywood.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Doors are lousy I bought this shed about two years ago - had a contractor come in and build a level cement pad before I had the shed put together. The cement pad is level, so is the shed, and everything is square. The problem is that the doors are held in by little nubs that fit into little depressions and fall out easily when you open them. I solved that by not leaving the doors open when I'd get out my lawn mower, etc. However, this winter the doors fell out (whether due to wind or freezing temps). Because the shed is in my backyard I didn't notice it and don't know how long they were laying there. Everything in my shed was ruined by snow. The doors are now behind held on by some clothesline that I've run around the shed to hold it closed. I spent so much money on this only to find out it's not worth two cents. Rubbermaid, this is a big disappointment.

Rated 4 de 5 de par A present to myself After a month of long await , my outdoor shed arrived earlier than schedule time for deliver, and eith the great kindness of Roberto Santos, and his co-worker, they helped me, a woman delivered all the way to my " door step" curb side. Without their help, i don't know how am i going to bring it up the apartment all by myself. Truly grateful. The assembly was not bad with help of my girlfriend, it took us 2.5 hours, if i had electric screw driver it would been faster. At the end i can't stop smiling, and admire the beauty of it as it sits on my balcony, helping me with more storage solution. Highly recommended .

Rated 1 de 5 de par Doors need stiffeners I like rubbermaid. But the doors on this shed need stiffeners. Else, the doors will warp badly. Ruberrmaid's larger shed has the same type of doors and a metal stiffener installed to keep them from warping. The doors on this shed have space for the stiffeners and detents for the screws, but no stiffeners are included. This would be one of Rubbermaid's best sheds if only the stiffeners were included.

Is this shed lockable?

Is this shed lockable?
Posée par: Paul
Well, yes and no. The two doors (and the whole shed) are hollow, molded lightweight plastic with interlocking parts that snap together. The two swing doors close (first left, then right) with a section in the middle that overlaps with a protruding loop to place a padlock through. I just use a small carabiner through the loop to hold the two doors closed, otherwise they will pop open. My two sheds are outside under an overhang to keep the sun off of them as they do warp in the Arizona heat. I only use these sheds for folding chairs, step stools, some lawn fertilizer, sprinkler parts, etc. However, the shed is lightweight and anyone who is determined could pull the doors off with some effort and obtain the contents. So, if you plan to put something with real value in it, it may not be secure.

It was easy to assemble and it is a light gray. I printed mine with spray paint for plastic outdoor furniture. You have to roughly sand with 100 grade sand paper first.

76 3/4” and I suggest you make some interior stabilization additions with a 2”x4” framework. I also built a base with pressure treated 2”x4” to sit the cabinet on. Also note that the roof and doors have warped slightly over the 2 years sitting in the back yard.

Can it be placed in a yard (on grass) or does it need to be placed on cement?

Posée par: Julie
It has a solid plastic base. Should be no problem if the ground is level and dry. If you have high winds it should probably be stabilized to prevent tipping over.

They give you insert that hook to the walls. I'm sure a peg board could be attached
