Rated 5 de 5 de par Love this sprayer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had Ryobi tools for many years and have never had any problems with any of them. When I was shopping for a new sprayer, I fortunately came across this sprayer. I had several Ryobi batteries already, but for $20 more dollars, I opted for the one that came with a battery. This sprayer is easy to fill, spray, adjust and flush out at the end of using chemicals. No more pumping. The wand and nozzle is high quality metal, not some cheap plastic. Uses very little of the battery per spray. Only small complaint is the tank is only 1 gallon, so you have to refill several times if treating a large area. No big deal. I highly recommend this sprayer to anyone.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Item Defective I bought this as my Shoulder gave me issues from the Iraq war. I used it once and it worked great. After that-even the 4ah wouldnt start it. I literally tried EVERYTHING imaginable. 1 time use-broke. I wasnt able to “find the reciept”-so no refund or even store credit. With the tenure so short on this item and customer service combined=garbage. DO NOT BUY! This review is done while Im in the pro account(showing reciept)…BUT now after discovering I DO have a reciept, I realize-I was just never asked about the “Pro Xtra Loyalty Program”, the card used, phone number or any means to return…..Its not possible to be reimbursed. Training is in order

What a piece of...No, let's be adult about this; this is the most poorly made sprayer I have ever purchased. The brass nozzle does not screw into the plastic housing - stripped immediately, which means you have to hold the nozzle/housing attachment together while spraying. Hopefully, you're not spraying poison, since it drips in your hand. In addition, the cheap plastic measuring cup/screw top cracked within 4 applications, which means an immediate loss of suction. All those positive reviews must be first time users. Steer clear of this terrible money waster. You want a great garden sprayer? Look into the Worx Power Shot. That's an incredible work horse!

Rated 2 de 5 de par Stopped spraying after 10 months I purchased my 1 gallon on 8-7-2019. It stopped spraying this week even through the motor runs, battery fully charged, & switch seems to work fine. So I pulled the tank off & at the end of the siphon tube I pulled off the end & it contains a tiny screen. I try my best to use clean water & chemicals but that little screen had about 25 little back particles in it. The screen is very small see ink pen for comparison. See image. I started diagnostics by checking the end of the spray nozzle, then disconnected the hose from the spray trigger, then removed the hose from the sprayer body. Everything was clear so I then removed the tank ,then the filter screen. Ryobi if you read this I would suggest a removable screen at the pour location. This is the first sprayer I have ever owned that didn't have a pour screen.

I previously had the Craftsman version of this but it was so annoying because one battery would barely last through the tank. this one, I am able to go through dozens of gallons while I fertilize all of my plants with watered down concentrate as well as QUICKLY being able to spray all my yard for weeds. tons of uses and all very simply. I love that you don't have to take all apart each time to refill also. the big valve is positioned to where you can just untwist it and leave the rest together. AMAZING PRODUCT. also love the hands free option

I needed a smaller, light weight electric garden sprayer and this Ryobi sprayer does the trick. I really like that the tube on the wand is metal with an adjustable brass nozzle. The pressure isn’t very strong, stream may go 7 feet at the most but it does the job spraying weed and bug killers. I didn’t like that the pump kept running when the trigger on the wand was released so I installed a pressure cut off switch. The pressure switch is adjustable and costed around $20, including the fittings, to add. This extended the battery charge life quite a bit, too bad it doesn’t come standard from Ryobi. Some people might think I just blew the warranty by doing this modification but I just increased the life of the sprayer and battery way beyond the warranty life. I also put some dense foam inside the handle housing to help cut down the noise when the pump runs. Now it’s 5 stars.

Rated 3 de 5 de par The pump mechanism will corrode If you transition from a hand pump sprayer to this sprayer, you will probably be delighted at first. If you are handy with tools and don't mind replacing parts periodically, you may be happy longer than I was. After 2 seasons of use at my single family residence... after cleaning the unit thoroughly after each use... after storing in a dry shed during the off season... you can see in the photo the condition of the pump mechanism in my sprayer. Very corroded and no longer working.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Decent Sprayer with Two Issues [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the appeals of this sprayer was the measuring cup/cap that comes with it. Unfortunately and unbelievably, the measuring cup is marked incorrectly! One tablespoon=.5 fluid ounces, so two tablespoons=1 fluid ounce. Unfortunately, two tablespoons of water poured into the measuring cup only come up as .5 fluid ounces using the markings molded into the cup. Inexcusable! Secondly, the battery fit into the tool is way too tight, making it difficult to install and to remove. I realize a tight fit is good, but this is overkill. Overall, the sprayer performed well the one and only time I have used it, having received it just this past week.

Hi, Geno- Thanks for the question. &quot;Water-based&quot; includes anything that is based with water instead of oil or thicker fluids. You do not have to mix a water based pesticide with water in order to use it in the sprayer. We hope this helps!

Hi, Bob- No, only water-based, non-commercial lawn and garden chemicals should be used. Bleach and other corrosive liquids will eventually ruin/break down the machine and void the warranty. We hope this helps!

It has a power switch separate from the spray switch. You turn the power on then either hold or lock the trigger to spray.
