Les raccords SharkBite de grand diamètre sont offerts dans les dimensions 1-1/4 po, 1-1/2 po et 2 po. Ces raccords sont compatibles avec n'importe quelle combinaison de tuyaux en cuivre, PVC-C, PEX, PE-RT et HDPE. Il suffit d'insérer le raccord sur le tuyau. Les dents en acier inoxydable sagrippent fermement au tuyau, tandis qu'un joint torique spécialement formulé crée un joint parfaitement étanche. Ces raccords à insertion sont conçus pour les réseaux d'eau potable (y compris les applications souterraines et derrière un mur) ainsi que les réseaux de chauffage rayonnant (aucun panneau d'accès requis). Prenez note de toujours utiliser des renforts pour PEX (vendus séparément) lorsque des raccords sont installés sur des tuyaux en PEX de grand diamètre.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Not that easy These are not as easy as they say. Maybe it would have helped if there were some detailed instructions in the package. Even the internet instructions were not that great. You need a 'disconnect clip' to complete the installation and that is not mentioned. Also, I had to install this shut off valve on already installed pipe, which had no give at all. Very difficult. If it weren't for the help and physical strength of my daughter, I would still be fighting it. Took 3 hours and 2 ball valves since one got broken in the process. Once we got it in, all was good but.... not a walk in the park by any means.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Not use in closed up walls Good valve as long as it installed outside a wall. Bought this one as a shut off for an outside faucet supply line. The stem however is too short and needs to be approx 2" to 3" longer for it to be inside a wall to have access to the stem & lever attachment. Tried to locate a stem extension of 1" to 3" but none are available for sharkbite. Ended up re-installing my outside faucet without an inside shut off valve and hope it last without freezing any further.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Tight quarters remodel Used these on copper pipe on a bathroom remodel. Installation was very fast and didn't have to use a torch to sweat them on in the very tight location and risk catching the place on fire.

Rated 5 de 5 de par End the frustration After a week of trying to repair an out of service plastic shut-off valve, my local hardware told me about the SharkBite. My old plastic supply lines were smaller than the standard replacement fittings. That frustrating week of trying to stop a leak around that old size pipe using hoarded old fittings, compression, first the purple stuff, then the glue, now tape...now putty...self made washer, o-rings almost drove me to insanity. When my rep told me that the SharkBite would adjust to my ID/OD with one push, guaranteed, it sounded too good to be true. IT WAS THAT EASY. Cutting off the section I'd been working on was the hardest part. The SharkBite simply pushed on and no leak. I was amazed and could not have been happier!!! It worked, it really, really worked with one push. No tape, no putty, no leak!!! Homeowner repairs made simple!!! I'm sure my local professional plumbers don't want me to talk about this, but I'm telling all the neighbors who have the outdated supply lines. Thank you for this product!!!

Because of the 1 foot clearance it was harder to cut out and remove the old shut off tap, but install the ball valve 1 minute !! Always keep a few on hand for the unexpected leak!!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Easy Installation and Secure Our water main valve started leaking and the Sharkbite 1" ball valve was the best option for CPVC installation. I followed the instructions to a T, and installed the ball valve. No issues on our main water shutoff now. Thank You for offering such a superior product.

What is the length of the handle for 1.5 in ball valve? How long does it stick out from the end of the valve when it is in fully open position?

Will a 1 5/16" copper pipe work with the 1.2 in valve

Hi, The SharkBite 1-1/2 in. Push-to-Connect Brass Ball Valve will work with rigid or hard drawn copper pipes that are type K,L, and M. The copper pipe must be rated (ASTM B88). The 1 1/2" fitting will work with a 1 1/2" copper pipe. The SharkBite push-to-connect fittings will not work with soft copper pipe.
