[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stanley Tools are definitely built to last. Just looking at these Groove Joint Pliers you can see the difference between them and other brands. These Groove Joint Pliers are made from "dropped forged steel" with a satin, non shiny finish. The handles are "double dipped" grips that are non slip and comfortable. The black handles will not show dirt and are easy to keep clean. With this one tool, you can firmly hold on to a lot of different sizes. The pliers adjust easily and hold fast. They feel substantial in weight and very sturdy.

Rated 5 de 5 de par My wife and I moved into a new house and... My wife and I moved into a new house and had to hook up the washer but then the hose was leaking. I was at my wits end, stomping and using very bad words. My wife looked me in the eye and say, you need to get a grip. Wow! It was a light bulb moment for me. So I ran to Home Depot and picked up this groovy pair of pliers came home, tightened the washer hose, stopped the leak and then ran all around the joint tightening all sorts of loose things like the flag on the mail box, the pea trap under the sink and the nuts on the bicycle wheels. Don't wait until your wheels come off. Get your groovy pliers and be ready to tighten stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are excellent and lightweight pliers, and it just makes you wonder why anyone would need anything better or fancier than this. Stanley makes solid stuff for a fair price, and these are no exception. Easy to use and adjust for the right size. These 8" pliers makes it a breeze trying to get into tight and small spaces. Highly recommend these groove joint pliers, especially at the price.

The jaws are notched to attack hex nuts and are accurately aligned when closed. The handles have been dipped in textured resin for comfort and grip. The jaws will hold a 1 inch think object. The overall length is 8.5 inches. There are five slip joints for thickness adjustment in quarter inch increments.
