Rated 1 de 5 de par waste of money I was so excited to get this so I could keep my small yard clean. I wanted to be able to vacuum the patio so all the dirt and leaves wouldn't spread everywhere. The first one I bought had to be returned because the handle shocked me. Returned it and just opened the replacement and the bottom won't come off to switch to the vacuum. I have struggled for 2 days, called Toro customer service which was no help since she couldn't see it. I was told to take it to an authorized dealer. So I get to pay to have it fixed? I think not. It's going back to Home Depot and I'll buy another brand of blower. Not going to risk strike 3. Very disappointed.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Wish the vacuum worked! Last year we got a blower as a gift and it worked great! But because our lawn is so large and covered with trees, we thought it would be smart to get a second blower for both of us to use. We knew what we wanted but when we got to the store we saw this and were interested in the vacuum portion of this. Why scoop it all up, if we can just vacuum it all up and dump the contents of the bag into the compost bin! However, the vacuum only "kinda" works. It will suck up a few leaves, then it stops sucking anything into the tube. So you need to turn the power off, let the leaves drop out of the tube, then turn the power back on, then suck them back up. And this is with dried out crunchy leaves.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Worked great for 1 year, terrible customer service from TORO The motor burned out after 1 year of very little use, I never used the vac option only blower. Comes with a 2 yr warranty, I have the receipt, called TORO about 4 times, each time they gave me authorized service centers in my city to take it to, I called 6 of them. All of them said they do not work on hand held Toro equip, called TORO again, they said I could mail it to them, it was not worth my time, money & energy, going to buy a different brand, TORO does not honor their warranty & gives you the run around instead.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Best of the bargain bin Good leaf blower/vac/mulcher if you like electric. I do. Pros: elec, so never a startup issue. stable power. easy conversion from blower to vac. Mulching helps, although getting it into the can is always a dirty job. 3-4 toro bags fill a 39 gal bag, so I do my 1/4 acre lot with 6 oaks in a bout 6 bags. *lightweight! (machine) Cons: LOOOONG cord. I use a 100ft'er with a 25 extended sometimes to get a little further. Like I said before, the bag gets a little dusty but what vac doesnt? the end of the bag is starting to fray a little, and some small particles do leak out, but I know how to sew (im a guy) so an easy fix. Dont spend anymore than $50 for a blower/vac unless you're going to spend 600 on an echo/stihl/husq.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Blows great I had a gas powered 150 MPH blower that worked great, but dealing with the oil/gas mix just for a once in a while driveway/porch blow was not practical. I bought this blower, and it really blew me and everything away; I like it. I could of bought the lower MPH Toro blower and been happy with that. I do not use the vacuum/mulch option, for I only use it for blowing. I recommend this blower; it is powerful, but the lower MPH blower would have been satisfactory. Also, all of the spider webs and other insect build-up on my porch and screens are wiped completely clean with this blower; I mean gone! Toro rocks!

Rated 4 de 5 de par Toro Blower I never review products but I had to for this little power house. I’ve owned this blower for 3 years. It is amazing how it goes through large volumes of leaves. I’ve attached 3 photos showing the pile of leaves I started with. At it narrowest its 3’x1’high. At its widest its 6’x1.5’ high. Each of the panels are 6’ long, i was able to use the shredder to consolidate all those leaves into 3.5 bags in one hour. You can not beat this for the price, 3 years still going strong. I’m not able to upload the after shot but its ALL gone!!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Overall Good Buy I bought this product 7 months ago, use it just about weekly, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have used the blower function and vac function, both work great. The blower is powerful enough for the average user and the vac is great for picking up leaves, small sticks, etc. It truly does cut down the amount of bags you would use. The vac function can strain your arm and neck (because of the strap), if you use it for a long period of time, but otherwise it's very helpful. I can see where reviews state that the plastic impeller could break, but what do you expect for the price? Definitely worth a shot.

Rated 5 de 5 de par It sucks, in a GOOD way! Works exactly as advertised, couldn't be happier. Picks up live oak leaves quite well but we had to rake them into piles since I keep my St Augustine grass pretty long. The mulching feature helps fit more leaves into each trashcan so I don't have to keep so many cans/bags on hand for all these leaves. My lawn looks great and I didn't have to tear it up so much to get every last leaf. If you have flower beds overflowing with leaves this is THE tool for you! Can't wait to get the flexible hose attachment and try cleaning my gutters the easy way. Unit is lightweight and very easy to handle. My only gripe is that the shoulder strap could use a pad, but I'll fashion my own pad for thin shoulders.

Yes,.. the A.C. cord is short, though. And, while there is a part on the back of the handle to secure the cord from coming apart, it is too large and the cord falls out, anyway.

yes. the leaves need to be dry. i vacuum the into the bag and empty into the brown paper yard bags.

They do sell the bag separately on the Toro site but I found it too expensive and just bought a second complete unit instead.
