Rated 4 de 5 de par Good Machine but some problem need to be fix I bought this machine a month already and after two use it stop moving forward. It could only move back as the problem mentioned here. So I had to finish removing the snow with my shovel. The other problem that I noticed is the joystick which directs the snow is difficult to maintain remains in the chosen position and if the company as move the joystick position more forward, so as not to bend the wrist when you pull it towards you, I do not understand why the company did not install the lock (blue plastic part) on the front of the handle rather than on top handle.

HAD TO BRING IN AND TOOK 3 WEEKS TO GET PARTS TO FIX IT. DEALER SAID VERY VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS MACHINE . WHEN IN THE SHOP DEALER SAID 4 OTHER SERVICE BULLETINS WERE ALSO UPDATED-- THIS THING IS A BEATS WHEN ITS WORKS PROPERLY BUT NOT IMPRESSED WITH ALL THE FIXES THAT HAD TO BE DONE WITH THIS ALREADY AFTER 3 USES.!!!

Rated 1 de 5 de par Toro Recalls Power Trx!!! Toro just issued a recall for this machine this week. I looked at the dealer info on it and it requires a whole new belt feed system and actuator and they swear it fixes the drive problem completely. My machine is in the shop and I suggest you get yours back to an authorized TORO dealer. All repairs are no charge and they look pretty beefy so hopefully that will address the lemon of a drive system that came with the machine. It is useless the way it works or soon will be and leave you stranded with many feet of snow stuck in your driveway unable to move. Get it done! They are sending parts out first of March!

Rated 5 de 5 de par TRX HD 1428 OHXE Operation review [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine eats snow like a teenager eats food. With the full speed control hydrostatic drive it’s easy to keep the auger box full and the impeller empties it as fast as it enters. The track drive does not bog down and keeps turning under all conditions. The chute control for me took some patience to begin with. Use your gloves not you choppers for turning with the track breaking for steering, the hand warmers are great. Starting is simple and effective, I like the electric start, but it still starts well with the recoil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bad boy new on January 3rd 2023 for here in North Dakota and we had a record matched season of snow fall at 101 inches and this beast helped me get through it! My next added blower will be the 30 inch TRX to help take some of the work load off the 28 inch. Worth every penny and paid for itself 6x over in the first month alone.

Rated 4 de 5 de par After repairs this is a good machine [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this snow thrower a rating of one with a recommendation not to buy this. Toro had me take this machine to L.L. Johnson for repairs. L.L. Johnson mechanic, Terry, put in all the parts Toro sent in their kit. This weekend Denver got the 4th largest snow fall since the 1800's. This machine cleared over 2 feet of snow off of 18 neighbors front walks, 4 driveways and 4 front door walks. I have spent 8 hours clearing snow and this machine did not miss a beat. Minor problems with the finger steering controls, machine drifts to the right. Slush plugged the snow chute 3 times, but a quick flick of the attached stick, brought it back to full working conditions. My neighbors love the machine as I do. I will rate it a four only because of the minor problems and sluggish plugging, but it works better than any other machine I have owned or operated.

The warranty states under "Items and Conditions not covered:" "Use of old fuel (more than 1 month old) or fuel which contains more than 10% ethanol or more that 15% MTBE" I can see draining the snow blower at the end of each year, but does that mean any of the gas I have in the garage cannot be used if it has been sitting in the gas can for more than a month? One month seems unreasonable.

Per the Toro Operator’s Manual, for best results, purchase only the quantity of fuel that you expect to use in 30 days. It is recommended by Toro to use fuel stabilizer in the machine at all times to keep the fuel fresh longer when used as directed by the fuel stabilizer manufacturer. The Toro Warranty statement reads that the failure to follow fueling instructions and requirements is a condition that is not covered under warranty. This includes using fuel more than one month old, fuel that contains more than 10% ethanol, failure to drain the fuel system prior to any period of non-use over one month, and improper fuel.

How durable are rubber blades on this machine. Most blades are made of metal and the rubber ones remind me of the rubber flappers on the really small machines that can only handle very lite fluffy snow.
