Rated 5 de 5 de par Amazing longevity Smiling Bob has nothing on this probe. Had it for several years. Probably one of the first releases. Bought the extra probes to have all four. Criticize me if you want but I’m not easy on tools. They’re meant to be abused, left dirty, dropped, etc. I treated this thermometer the same way. It was exposed to rain, heat, and always left outside in one of my trays under the grill (which I rarely put the cover on until the dead of winter). After probably close to 4 year of regular use and abuse, it died. I’m not looking at any other thermometer except another Weber product. Reliable, resilient, and you shall be missed. Thanks for many many great years

Rated 3 de 5 de par Happy and not happy I have used this for about a year now and I cook long slow cooks quite often. A couple quick thoughts...Bluetooth range is not more than about 8-10 feet for me. I use an iPad with the app on it. I use 2 probes and an ambient one. I believe the temperatures are really accurate and I love the graphs and all the features it has. However, I do lose Bluetooth connectivity at least 2 times in an 8+ hr cook. It’s frustrating to have to shut the app down, re start and reconnect. Although I do like most of the features, finding a way to increase the range on Bluetooth and loss of connection is a must on the next model

Rated 5 de 5 de par FUN AND ACCURATE What a fun accessory! I use the iGrill 2 with the two meat probes plus an ambient probe to watch the temps on two meats and the grill temp on my Big Green Egg from inside my home. I used a small grinder to create three slots on the edge of the grill to keep it from crimping the wires when I close the grill (picture enclosed). I suggest buying an Ambient Temp Probe to use along with the two meat probes. Weber should include the Ambient Temp Probe with the iGrill 2 package. Also, they should include instructions on how to clean the probes in the package. The temp measurements on the Weber probes are more accurate than the inexpensive hand held probe that I used to use.

Rated 5 de 5 de par The iGrill 2 does the trick! It didn't take long to determine this is a winner. Bluetooth connectivity eliminates the need to run outside to check temps...in the rain. The Bluetooth signal strength is just strong enough to reach my iPhone when in my frame house, a distance of about 20 feet. Others may have an issue if their home is brick, or they are further away from the base unit. I will try playing around with where I locate the base to see if I can get the signal to reach further. We'll see how it holds up over the long haul, including battery life, weather resistance, accuracy and so on. Thus far, I am happy I picked it up.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Inaccurate I bought this igrll2 2 years ago and the 1st time using it was great! The next 2 times on a Kamado grill it burned 4 pork shoulders (7lbs each) even though the temp probe in the grill was at 225-250F with the probe and the internal set to 195F-10hours later 1/2 of the meat was burned and dried out. I thought it was my kamado that was the problem, so I just bought a Traeger and set the temp to 225F! 3 pork shoulders (4,5,6lbs) and the probe only reached 194F after 12 hours so I removed! They meat was 1/2 it’s original weight and dried up! Wasted once again obviously due to the probe readings! Very convenient with the WiFi however the accuracy, not good!

Rated 4 de 5 de par Amazing thermometer with ok Bluetooth I’ve used the igrill 2 a few times and love it. I can measure the temp of my smoker and 3 meats of I had the room. Or I can measure two spots on a large smoker to make sure the temps are even across the smoker and still measure the temp of two meats. My only complaint mirrors several other reviewers on here. The range or strength of the Bluetooth could be improved. If I’m outside I can get a single all over my property. But if I’m inside our house and try to go upstairs to our family room to watch tv I lose signal. I could always try and move the smoker closer so the signal might get better but since the signal still has to go through walls it might work.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Great product but... I love this product and the concept is great. It has not failed to have a perfect grilled main course. Only problem I have is projecting completion time to my wife and the WiFi is only good for a short distance. I wish it had some method to say when it will be done by probe and expand the WiFi distance to receive the info on my phone. I installed a WiFi extender but it does not help. My friends have the same problem so 8m sure it’s a design issue. I still would recommend this if you are a serious griller as the product works as intended and you can guess on the completion time. Happy grilling.

I plugged in the 2 probes, downloaded the app to my phone and synced the 2 together. Everything was perfect. I put a couple pork chops on the grill, put the 2 probes in and set the alarm in the app to alert me when they reached the temp I wanted. Everything was fine until I realized that when my phone was asleep in my pocket the alarm didn't make any noise when they reached temp. This was a problem for me. I can't constantly be on my phone making sure the app is up so I can get the alert when my food is done. I was told by support this concern was passed on to their app developers. I returned this and i'll possibly buy one again in the future if they ever get this worked out.

You can arrow left &amp; right on the I Grill to see the temperature of the probes you have inserted in the devise. This does mot require an app however; the app gives you additional options and is valuable.

The app is available in the App Store on an iPhone. Open the App Store click on the search icon a magnifying glass at the bottom of the page. Type in &quot;Weber i grill&quot; and hit search. I found there were several potential app's that come up. Open the red one that is labelled &quot;iGrill&quot; I don't know how this works on an android phone.

Yes, the iGrill 2 can be used without the Weber iGrill App, however we recommend using the app for quick and easy access to preset temperature guides and to receive alerts when your food is ready.

Hi! We do not recommend mounting your iGrill 2 to your grill. If the surface is too hot to touch, it's too hot for the iGrill 2! Instead, try placing your iGrill 2 on your grill's side table. If the iGrill 2 doesn't stick, use the optional magnetic disc included with your iGrill 2. Thanks!
