Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great large inexpensive sliding door coverage My sliding door is large 104” and these verticals did the trick for an inexpensive solution. So easy to install, took no time at all and they look great! I purchased the faux wood blinds which I recommend as the smooth white look cheaper in my opinion. Hang at a height of 84 3/4 and you have a perfect height with no dragging at the bottom. I am a 62 year old woman retired and have hardly any tools and used a manual screwdriver and this took me an hour. The brackets even have an adhesive to help keep them in place. If I can do it so can you. I am so pleased with them and I saved hundreds of dollars by doing them myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Cheap option....not perfect, but not too bad Homer is the only ones that stock 104" length, but smaller locations like Westbank don't stock...but the larger Kelowna location does. Be sure to get the faux "Wood Grain" type as opposed to the slightly lower priced smooth finish as the vanes are much more robust. The Operator Rail is exactly the same, as is the box.... both have Hampton Bay labels, which can fool you cause they are almost the same....except the words "Wood Grain Finish". The Wood Grain ones are priced approx 20% more the the flimsy cheapo's but totally worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from pile of junk these blinds are of such poor quality i think they may be the biggest pile of junk i ever bought in my life! the clips to hold the 1.5 inch headrail are too small ( 1") . the clips to hold the front valance on are an inch too small. the plastic hanger clips are of very poor quality. one of the slats was a different colour than the rest. after an hour and a half of fighting with this thing i got so mad i took it all down , wrapped it up and took it right back to the store! i will never buy designview products again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not worth your time Bought it went home and headrail had huge bend in it even though box was in perfect condition. drove back 25 miles got another. installed it and it is the flimsiest thing I've ever seen from the hardware and clips for headrail to the wand and sliders. It also stinks of a chemical smell from the cheap plastic. Didn't expect it would be built like a battleship for the price but it was the only option the store I was in had. total waste of my money and time. will be throwing them out when I can find something to replace it with.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed We just opened the box for these and immediately regretted buying them once we started to unpack them. We bought the white ones. Before I put them up I took one piece out to see the quality. First piece was stained and smelt of heavy chemicals. so I checked another... and another.... every single piece had either odd stains/splashes all over them that looked and smelled like serious chemicals and some with small little brown burn looking marks on them that could not be wiped off. When I started taking them out my wife asked me to let them air out in the garage to let the chemical smell air off them they smelt so bad. We got through half of them before agreeing there was no way we would be using them and put it all back in the package. Definitely going to be returning these!

Be warned though, if you have east or west facing windows, the PVC will warp in the heat even with air conditioning. Not a good look when they’re closed. These blinds are only 3 months old.

Can these blinds be cut down smaller or can they be ordered in smaller size I need 48x42 is this posible

The width cannot be cut in store for these blinds. The height may be able to be cut if your nearest store has the cutter for it.

We just finished installing it. looks great and works fin but it has a strong smell. left the windows open to see what will happen. it seems that the smell gets worse with sunlight

The plastic smell didn’t take long to go away. We didn’t notice a problem that lingered. Ours is in full sunlight and does not smell. Hope it works out for you. I like the blind.

You can adjust the width yourself at home by removing the end cap and cutting the headrail and guide bar along with removing some of the slat clips, there are videos on YouTube of how to

From inside the home, my sliding patio door opens on right side and the control to open/close is on left side. These blinds looks are having control on right side and are designed for the doors that open from left side. Please advise.

The headrail in the kit, can not be cut. You can only cut the headrail is your order the headrail separately. We recommend to cut the headrail at the store by your specially designed machines to ensure a accurate precise. clean cut.
