Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware: Look At Other Brands We have this unit, 2 years in and we continually have a SUDS error which is brutal. My wife clean the filter regularly, runs cleaning cycles through the machine, but the error is a bad actor and keeps coming back. Had a appliance repair guy look at it and he says common with LG machines and most likely will need to replace the control panel or the pump, or both. Just brutal, for $1200+ dollars to have it last 2 years is a gut punch. Stay far away from LG machines and don't make the mistake we did. We will most likely have to purchase a new washer, after only 2 years, very sad.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My clothes smell terrible!!! I'm so disappointed with this washer. Almost everytime a load is done and I open the door my clothes smell terrible! Sometimes I have to wash them 2 or 3 times to get the smell out! And I usually have to add Borax. Never have I had this problem with other washing machines. I clean my tub regularly with the correct products and do not overload. Also let's say a load is supposed to take an hour, it will way longer because sometimes it will sit at the 10 minute mark for 10 minutes, and same with other numbers. It's a complete dud. I hate this machine and it was so expensive!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hidden issue to be aware of I bought this stackable machine in December and discovered on delivery it has two plugs (240 volt and 120 volt) and thus, requires two sockets. However, the tiny laundry room in my condo has only one, 240 volt outlet, which is what my previous stackable appliance used for both washer and dryer. I have been waiting for an electrician to come and do the necessary wiring to add the second outlet before I can use the machine. The machine may be great; I only rated 3 stars because people should be told about the requirement for two outlets prior to purchase. This has been a big hassle for me.

It is touch sensitive , can only wash on warm water,cannot adjust water temperature. Went back to Home Depot,he had LG rep. come in discuss my problem said it has to do with the pads of my fingers and blood flow.key pad is a computer touch sensitive. Too bad I never knew that before buying, that it will not work for some.Live and learn.

I decided to purchase one for the newand what a difference it made with the clothes: smells better, wash better, doesn’t leave soap, etc I highly recommend LG in general, their customer service is excellent and no argument. Even if your item is 10 years old they have a special service fee to try to repair it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaked within 12 days. Home Depot did nothing. I would give this 0 out 5 if I could. I had the washer in my possession for 12 days total and it leaks. Home Depot will not do anything about it. I cannot believe they don't stand by the products they sell and sent me to the manufacturer. Identifying a problem within 48 hours is not an acceptable policy. Home Depot you have lost my business.

do you have to hook up the wifi to use this machine?

No. Wifi is just one of the many amazing features that this front loader offers which can be used for downloading different cycles, and/or preset the washer itself. However, it is not mandatory to have Wifi connected before usage.

I am replacing my WM2133CW with the WM3600HWA . I have a stackable dryer with this. Will the new one be able to stack with the same kit or will this not work at all ??

This should work no problem as long as the units are the same brand & width. We replaced our wash machine last year and it worked perfectly with our 12 year old dryer. You may need to buy the kit for the new WM though. You can check with HD associate though to confirm.

Can this wash machine pump the wash water to the waste pipe 3 feet higher than the base of the wash machine?

Hi 3ft may not seem like a high distance to pump and it may work but it could result in extra water trying to back flush into the guts of the machine. This could mean more than expected standing grey water being forced back through the system.  The pump will likely work harder causing a shorter life. Also when cleaning the filter you may have a lot more water draining out. LG is known for errant aromas from standing water in the machine even though you physically can’t see it. This may increase the chances of this  Perhaps a call to LG can help with your questions. Best of luck
