I bought the hook and toilet paper holder as well. Installation is typical with brackets, although you need to be precise on the horizontal spacing for proper installation. I had to return this size because a 30 inch towel bar has center of brackets 31" apart, and the towel bar extends another inch beyond that on each side. So a 30" towel bar is actually 33" wide and 24" towel bar is 27" wide, etc. I don't understand why Delta makes them longer than their competitors! Thus the 1 star reduction. I now have to install a 24" bar where a competitor's 30" bar used to hang.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Love the length! We had this towel bar installed when we had our bathroom remodeled. It is the perfect size for 2 bath mats. The length of bar that can be used for hanging is 30.25". The whole bar is 33". The measurement from the outside of the left circle to the outside of the right circle is 33.25". It is 3.25" in depth away from the wall. We ordered this online and had it shipped to the store. It arrived pretty quickly and pickup was hassle free.

For use as a towel bar I would look elsewhere as this is really thin diameter bar. But I do not use it for towels. I'm using it as a curtain rod for bathroom window. It looks very good and the even better trick: it can be cut to size and it looks like that's how it was from the factory. Just use a pipe cutter and go slowly so you do not crush the pipe. The legs just push inside the pipe.

When we built our home oil rubbed bronze or Venetian Bronze finish was not available, we wanted to update our home. The paper template made it very easily to centered and level and install. We are very happy with the look and function. Would purchase again.

How far does it extend out from the wall? Does it come in a brushed Chrome or aluminum finish?

The total protrusion from the wall is 3 and 3/8", to the outer edge of the bar. I bought the chrome and it is the shiny standard finish. Looks great, and is nice solid quality. Be aware, though, that you need 27" side-to-side for 24" towel bar and 33" for a 30" towel bar.

In an Oct. 29, 2020 post, it was stated that the Delta Trinsic Collection Towel bars are made of brass. Please confirm that is the case.
