Rated 4 de 5 de par Excessive Pulls will Flood the Engine This replaced a smaller Echo curved shaft trimmer and I am quite pleased with the power output. However, I nearly returned the product because of the difficulty starting the engine. When I went back to the shop where I purchased it, the advice I received was to pull no more than two times in full choke before switching to open choke. This runs counter the the instructions, but has been great advice for the Texas summer heat. Apart from that, I feel the plastic handle might break in the future, but for now it offers some measure of flexibility. In summary, it took a little getting used to, but I am glad I switched to the increased power of the PAS-2620.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Buy once cry once I started out buying the echo pas 225, well let’s just say it wasn’t cutting it (no pun Intended) I went with that solely on the price point. So I then I went to the SMR 2620, night and day difference but I was missing the option to use the other attachments available. I bit the bullet again and purchased the PAS 2620, this machine does everything I need it to and more. The power to weight ratio is great, it will run any attachment I have and for the engine size it does pretty well on fuel consumption. If your a pro this unit is a must, if your a home owner... spent the extra money and get the 2620 I’ve the 225 you will not regret it.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Well Executed - Pro Grade After much research, I decided to purchase the PAS-2620 along with the edger and trimmer attachments. I was somewhat apprehensive that the "multi-tool" aspect of this approach would lead to a disappointment with the combos feeling like compromises over what dedicated tools would provide. I have reason to worry about this issue after buying a few tools from the local retail stores. Thank goodness I was wrong. The PAS-2620 with attachments DO NOT feel like compromises. They are balanced and solid tools that perform exceptionally will for their intended purposes. I am happy with my Echo purchases and will buy more.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Better than expected! I've used gas powered yard tools for years and own three Echo products already. I've always been satisfied with Echo's quality, performance and longevity but WOW! This PAS system is just over the top. It's easy to use and interchange attachments and it made quick work of several tasks I needed to complete in preparation for a building going up. This tool is such a pleasure to use and easy to maintain I've already added my second attachment and look forward to adding one or two more. The PAS 2620 has the power to run any attachment and is one of the best purchases I've ever made from the Echo line of products.

Purchased a Echo Pro series 266 a very long time ago, also have edger Attachment as well as pro sweep as well as weed trimmer attachment. I needed the pole saw attachment, so I pulled the trigger and purchased pole saw as well as upgraded 2620 pro head, love it. Solid, great grip, solid extension pole and a WHOLE LOT OF POWER. Still have older unit but WOW. The best part is All my attachments fit both units, that’s saying a lot since some of them must be close to 15 years old, who makes a unit like that. I also have a STIHL with cutting blade, can’t compare power, Echo blows it away, we have fruit trees, and brush around pond handles it all, very satisfied.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Powerful Bought this pas 2620 to replace a worn out Husqvarna 525 ls. I also have pas 225 I use for hedge trimmer attachment. This attachment is awesome. Wanted this pas 2620 to have a back up for my string trimmer and hedger. Powerful machine, but room for improvement. Two thumbs up for the air filtration system. Best Ive seen yet, but here is what husqvarna did better on their 525 ls. Solid steel drive shaft, larger opening on fuel tank for easier fill ups, auto return kill switch, auto throttle advance choke in better location, less vibration, less fuel consumption, and lighter weight.

Rated 3 de 5 de par mechanics review I've been working on Echo and Stihl for years. I like the PAS; its a powerful machine, easy to work on, and a solid engine. Some people complain about the knob on the coupler breaking; it's from over tightening the knob. Everyone I talked to that broke this knob thought it would stop the vibration of the shaft. The vibration is from this unit is due to it having two shafts connecting and the power put out by the power head; Stihl Kombi units will also vibrate. Other than this issue I haven't seen anything else worth stopping fom someone to purchase it.

MAN this is the unit you want if your thinking of edging or anything that require a little power. Its light, ALWAYS fires on 1st or 2nd pull and it's always ready to rip the wood off the side of the barn for you! Out of all the Echo PAS heads this is the one you want, its well worth the money!

The only way I can see it shutting off like that would be if the fuel line with the filter in the gas tank comes out of the fuel level when angled in a particular way. You may have to check that. That would be about the only way I can picture that happening. I don't work for echo but have had several unit I mean several from the attachment series for using as weed eaters, edgers and bush trimming to blowers etc.These units are incredibly reliable.
