Rated 3 de 5 de par Poor quality mounting screws were a challenge. The blinds seem fine. However, the screws provided were poor quality. I was installing the brackets on softwood and the heads of two screws twisted off, and several screws stripped the philips slot (had to remove the screws using pliers, and replace with another screw, as I could not drive them flush). I can't remember ever having a screw head come off in soft wood and I have done a lot of handyman stuff in the last 60 years. I was using an impact driver for the screws with a medium torque setting. Maybe better luck if you use a simple screwdriver - but who does that these days.

They are very sturdy once installed and look awesome. I will be getting one for our larger bay window next! Highly recommend.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Incorrect color on photo These shades are much darker than depicted in product photo, not driftwood color at all, no grey undertone either. More of a light medium brown. Otherwise, the product seems well built and cordless feature is smooth when you lift up and pull down the shades. Allows an adequate amount of light filtering during daytime while not being able for others to see through from the outside. I will still be returning it since it’s not the color I was looking for.

Hi there,  Are these privacy shades from the outside/street looking in? Hard to tell in photos, would they need a liner or they do the trick?

You can't see through them at all, they provide privacy while still letting some light through

Are the bilind measurements exact or is there some flexibility in width? For example, my window is 35.75 inches wide. Do I buy a 35 in blind or a 36 in blind?

My window measurement is 58 5/8” wide. Is the 60” too long for inside mount or is it truly 60”. If so am I able to cut it?

If you order 60", it will come with 59.5". You can cut the shades to the size you need.

If you need them narrower can you also cut the top where the mechanism is located? My window inside measurement is 22 1/2” and I’d like an inside mount.

I’ve done it. I believe I ordered the 23” and needed 21” inside mount. Took an inch off each side. Roll the blind tight and tape it. Use a sharp blade and cut quickly, hope for the best! It’s not going to be perfect.

How do these blinds roll up/down? What is the system for this?

The shade includes a cord-free mechanism that is easy to operate by gently placing both hands at the bottom of the shade to push up or pull down.

Can the length of these blinds be shortened? I need only 34 inchs in length for my bathroom windows. I recently purchased this blind for my kitchen and there is no instructions to shorten so if this is possible please provide details on how to do it.

Why would you need to shorten them? I bought them for a tiny bathroom window. They are fine. The extra length stays tucked up inside, I don’t notice it at all. If you wanted to shorten, you could try by citing the strings from the bottom, unbraid them from the length you don’t want, then tie the strings up, but you risk them being crooked. Anyways, the length I bought has about 10 extra inches of length, but because of the way they work, the mechanism keeps the extra length tucked away. I don’t notice it at all.
