Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good strong closet rod Very good heavy duty rod. Cut by hand with hacksaw. Note the diameter of the rod allows for standard hangers, but may not work for children’s hangers. Finish is matte black and seems scratch proof. Overall very happy that we can hang heavy stuff on a rod up to about 70” and we did not use a support bracket.

Can this be cut with a dewalt cutoff tool? If yes, Does it need a specific blade?

Not the right tool for the job. Just use a hacksaw. You’ll make a mess using a multi tool to try and cut it

What is the weight capacity for the rod

I need one but I dont own hacksaw or any cutter nor I am physically capable to cut it myself and I dont know many people. Would the store cut it for me there and then when i buy it?
