Rated 1 out of 5 by from Oven Paint will Crack and Peel off due to Heat Do not buy this product. Of course, we purchased the "full set" - including gas/propane range oven, matching refrigerator and the range hood vent. Within a year, the paint on the stove is bubbling and peeling off. The paint can't handle the heat of the stove and it is cracking, flaking and peeling off, and there are bare areas of metal starting to rust. Super, super disappointed in the product. Clearly they went for the "cute factor" - including a stupid raised logo on the oven that is impossible to clean - and they didn't do any actual real world testing of this product. I wish I had spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible purchase This oven was a terrible purchase. In a few months the paint bubbled and peeled all over it, shown in the pictures attached. Rust is now forming and it looks awful. One of the reasons we bought it was that it looked cute and vintage, but this definitely ruins its appearance. So if you're buying this because it looks cute, don't, unless you plan to never use it for cooking. When using the oven, heat leaks out the door, sides and bottom so much that it heats the whole kitchen and is honestly a little scary. If you had something plastic in the lower drawer it would definitely melt. The oven temperature is wildly inaccurate, often  off by 50 to 100 degrees. It will not go lower than 300, so you can't use it for warming or slower cooking. The thermo couple had to be replaced within a year, and we had to install it ourselves because there is no service from this company in our area, even though they're located quite near us. The only option they gave us otherwise was to ship them the entire oven ourselves. Like, seriously. So, don't buy this oven. It's a waste of money and you'll have to replace it in no time.

I was also disappointed that the range is a deeper colour than the matching range hood and refrigerator..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Four months after buying this unit the paint around the top of the oven door and around the control knobs began to bubble. within 30 days it was peeling off. I contacted Unique and the retailer. because I bought it 8 months prior to using it so it could be installed in our new home it was, 30 days passed the 1 year warranty. NEVER again would I purchase from Unique.

The stove doesn’t stay lit and the customer service is absolutely horrendous. I would never buy any unique appliance it is overpriced and is not good for long term use.

Now after a year the oven door doesn't close properly, one of the burners has to be lit with a match, broiler doesn't work. It is the paint that bothers me the most, as I bought this one based of of looks and now it doesn't even have that!

How can Unique continue to sell a range with this many serious problems? It's unbelievable. There's stoves from the 1930s still in use where the paint has never peeled. What has Unique done to address the peeling paint issue?
