Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great BBQ We just purchased this BBQ as we were replacing and older larger Weber. I’ve used it a few times and I really like it. I also love the look of the black. There are however a couple of negatives. We have the natural gas model but the base (floor) of the BBQ is made for a propane tank so it has a cut out of the metal making it impossible to store things down there without adding your own base/floor.. Also, there is no back on this BBQ so that the drip tray is wide open. If you have dogs, you know what I’m talking about. Neither of these things affect the performance of the BBQ but I think that Napoleon could have done better with the design.

I have contacted Weber twice via their customer service 2 and 4 weeks ago and I have no reply. A horrible product followed with zero customer service. How do I return a bbq???

Would be 5 stars but the fact that the right shelf is in fixed position leaves it for less flexibility for storing and forces you to pay more for the cover with space for both shelves in the upright position. But so far is a great cooker for our needs.

The specifications indicate that the assembled width is 48 inches. Does this include the two side shelves? What is the width of the body of the bbq without the shelves / with the shelves folded down?

You can only fold one shelve, the other side is fixed. With one shelve folded it's 38" width.

How long is the gas hose?

Not including fittings, the hose is 9' 6" long, exiting from the right side. Great BBQ, very even heat and low flareups. Bought it based on Cooks Illustrated review.
